don't care what most of the dickheads on this fricked up rant say, and I know from personal experience, DB is one of the nicest, smartest, most charismatic, loyal dudes you'll ever run across

I have some cool LSU stuff from when my grandfather was at LSU in the late 50s/early 60s, but one of my favorite items is a sign LSU gave away at Dale Browns last home game. It says "Geaux Tigers" on one side and "Thanks, Dale!" on the other side.

It's prob not worth much, but I like because it reminds me of his time at LSU and going to games with my grandfather.

I wish I could have had the chance to do the same. He's a class person!

Yeah, I don't concern myself with what the retard brigade has to say on here. You can always expect some of that in any thread here. It was truly great meeting him. Whether he has 1 copy of that piece of 20 makes zero difference to me. Its still a great piece. The idiots saying he gave it to me and will ask me for something later are clueless. They have no clue what I was meeting him far, and I'd say there is a 0.0000000001 chance of him every asking me for anything. But like I said, if he ever would then I would try my best to do whatever he needed.

Without a doubt. He had some truly amazing stories to share.

You seem legitimately concerned that he would actually ask for a favor. Lighten up. They're just poking fun.

Oh and cool story and great memory.

Mine is one of the two main backboards used in the PMAC before they did the new court renovation a couple years ago. I knew somebody who worked with the LSU athletic department, and they were trying to get rid of them. It was all dirty because they stored it in a junk room for a while.

That's pretty cool. Looks like you just have it collecting dust though. I can put that to better use for you

I have a metal sign from the RF bleachers at the old Box. It hangs on my living room wall.

Mine is a white football from the 2007 National championship team with the team record. Signed by Jacob Hester, Ali Highsmith, and Chevis Jackson + Senior Bowl football cards signed from the same players. My cousin is a Police Officer, and works the Senior Bowl every year. He got them to sign the ball, and cards and sent them to me. He called me from the stadium, and put Jacob Hester on the phone to talk with me. I had no idea he was going to do it. Cousin is a great guy for an Alabama fan. lol

The item that means the most to me is an autographed ball cap and letter on LSU stationary that Skip sent to me while deployed in the Persian Gulf.

Well that makes my original 1969 LSU-Auburn game program look like a booger......
