There may be other reasons he decided to make that decision, but depression is no joke. It can strike anybody. Anthony Bourdain was on top of the world when he succumbed. Prayers to Tre and his family. Just devastating.

Psych research suggests that it's the high points, not the low points, that push people over the edge. The little depression monster on their shoulders tells them that it will never get better than it is, and they'd rather go out "on top" than than face another dive.

fricking sucks. Ts and Ps for the Waters family and for anyone else going through something similar.

Anthony Bourdaine loved his job and life. He was suicided. He was revealing alot of truth about different nations and powers. The last show he was doing had political angles. Enough catch heat from powerful folks. Nobel Peace candidate imo

This is incredibly sad for Tremont. And I don’t know what to say about the timing. I’m rooting for him harder than ever.

Depression is a demonic beast that relentlessly attacks. It gives no quarters, it offers no relief. So very, very sad. I've personally known several people who committed suicide. My ex brother-in-law did and of all the people I knew in my life he was one I'd of never thought would commit suicide. Some think it's a one way ticket to hell, the bible does not say that though. I've been there, more than once, and can honestly say if not for Christ Jesus and the Lord God I wouldn't be here right now. My prayers go out to Tremont and his family. If anybody is thinking of suicide, just stop, think of your family, how they will miss you. Call a friend, try talking to God, there is a better way.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is a great organization and does great things in Washington. I would urge people to donate to this cause. Besides cancer research, or feeding the hungry, I can’t think of a better way to give charity.

ETA: I’m probably forgetting several great ones but man suicide just sucks and it stays on the families minds for the rest of their lives.

see I dont know how I feel about this. If its suicide why do it now? Your son has worked all his life to get to the NBA and as soon as he gets there you take your life leaving him with sadness and emptiness selfish if you ask me.
