Man, the Rant use to be actual rants and blow ups, now its devolved into poor troll attempts. Seriously, getting pretty pathetic.

Hey moron Hurts hasn’t won a Super Bowl yet. Burrow has won a national championship and the Heisman.
Let that sink in dummy.

The late hit out of bounds was not a BS call lol. It was the correct call.

Laughably bad. Mahomes is a RUNNER. He was going down the sidelines. Osai put his hand on him in bounds. It looked bad from the TV coverage angle, but down the sideline looks very clean.

Compare that to the, "Well, they can just throw Joe to the ground onto his throwing wrist" after the ball is out and had the transparent gall to call it intentional grounding (which it probably was) on the same play. Those penalties should have offset, at worst, but they didn't even call that contact.

It was a bullshite, rigged game. The NFL, particularly in the playoffs, is straight up rigged. #ThereIsaidit

Good for him but he might not be there next year. been kind of a bust for Chiefs and he's injury prone.

I didn't replay it, but on that play there sure looked to be a clear case of hands to the face where Chris Sims had his hand inside the facemask of the Bengals RT.

There were also a disproportionate number of holds called on Cincy when there were a number of clear holds on the Chiefs. One play in particular Mahomes steps up in the pocket and makes a big throw and the center tackles the Cincy rusher right next to him. Of course you "can" call holding on every play, but when the refs decide to call and not to allows them to either consciously or inadvertently manipulate the game. They missed some on cincy, but there were more blatant misses on the chiefs.

Congrats to the Chiefs. The Chiefs and Bengals have an intense rivalry and both teams should be in the thick of things for a few more years at least.

I was rooting for Joe, Jamar and the Bengals. I still believe their day will come.

The way offensive holding is called is the most transparent element of corruption in football officiating.

That is probably due to the Bengals offensive line starters out with injuries.

(Not a response to you, BayouCowboy, but I'll put this in this same post.):
As far as the intentional grounding and the 3rd down replay, the referees had it correct.

The ball was thrown at the ground behind the line of scrimmage with the quarterback in the pocket and no receiver near.

The redo of the 3rd down came because the play clock was running and shouldn't have been, and an official clearly was trying (watch the replay) to stop the play before the ball was snapped. Whether or not the center snaps the ball and the play is run is irrelevant. Any official can stop the play.

Maybe the Bengals (and the Cincinnati citizens and mayor) will learn not to give a good team bulletin board material leading up to a game. Somehow you could sense "Burrowhead" was going to backfire on the Bengals.

What about the Chiefs throwing the QB to the ground after the ball was gone on that "intentional grounding" play?

Not hit him - THROW him to the ground ON his throwing wrist. That's not roughing the passer?

If you replay the game (any game) in slow motion, you will find that a penalty could be called on every play.

The fact remains that Burrows had two interceptions which were costly and could not finish a drive late in the game to get the team into field goal range. I don't lay that on Burrows -- it goes directly to a patchwork offensive line with most of its starters injured.

"We're not going to make it about one play," Bengals Coach Zac Taylor said of Ossai's penalty. "There was plenty of plays we left on the field today that could have put us in a better position."

This is the way that every good coach views a game, and it's the lesson a lot of fans should learn.

I NEVER said he did. All I said was Hurts would likely win a SB before Joe. Team matters. So many factors mater.
Also, I said that Joe himself would tell you the SB ring is all that matters to him. His college is IN THE PAST. That is what happens when we grow up and get a job after college.
He is an ultimate competitor.

For Hurts though, he has a Natty and played for 2 more or at least was on the team. Does that matter? nope. Let’s not pretend he wasn’t there with Joe at the Heisman or he isn’t an excellent QB thanks to Doug Pederson. Pederson is WHY Jalen has improved as he himself had stated.

Hurts doesn’t belong in the upper echelon of pro QBs that Joe does. He is not even in that conversation even if he is fortunate to get a Super Bowl ring with the great D Philly has
Hurts is not the QB Burrrow is and never will be. He is in the perfect role with the great D Philadelphia has to be a game manager.
That’s his perfect role and he is limited to that role
Joe is the kind of QB that can win a big game for a team inspite of poor O line protection and average defensive play.
Hurts could never do that.
Barring injury Joe will be a Super Bowl winner AND Hall of Famer and THAT is the best a player can hope for in his career.

Ha ha! No he doesn’t. Hurts will never sniff the Hall of Fame. Barring injury Joe is destined for it.

My guess is that he is traded in the off season. Those backups have proven themselves when given the chance. CEH might wind up with Saints. They could use another Sproles type player.

With the way Pacheco is playing CEH is on borrowed time. I give him 2-3 more seasons and he will be out the league.
