If you think he led LSU in every major category and had a historic freshman season without trying while playing at this level you are a complete retard. You have forfeited your credibility.

He didn’t hustle sll the time at LSU. He played little D, He was aloof and wasn’t a leader. He was an exceptional talent, but he was just going through the motions here all too often.

I don’t remember Simmons not playing hard. He’s not the kind of guy to just take over a game in crunch time with scoring and that’s what everyone wanted him to be. He was a great facilitator and all around athlete and I remember him playing hard and doing the best he could with a sub par coach. He and the rest of the team clearly quit on Jones at the very end, I’ll give you that.

Your entire post is false. He was an outstanding defender who rebounded like a madman and did everything he could for this team. Blakeney even blew holes in you “leadership” bullshite when he said it was TQ tearing the team apart not Simmons. Again you have no credibility, you have no facts and are creating a story around your ill informed opinion.

This entire anti-Simmons nonsense is a three part Rant creation that has no basis in reality.
- The made up anti LSU comments that Simmons never made but Rant posters spread like a cancer
- the one and done hate happens every single season at LSU. Simmons has caught the most extreme side of it because he was by far the best of the one and done’s while playing for a bad team/coach.
- the team lost and the blame was laid at his feet even though we had 4-5 other professional basketball players on the roster.

Think how good the team would have been with Brady or Wade as HC.
If he led LSU in so many stats as a true freshman, what were the team leaders doing? Why do they not get ridiculed?
