Looks like Channel 4 WWL in New Orleans

In BR, the SEC TV game was on Ch. 16. They didn't carry the week 2 game unless you had Gameplan. It looks like is game will be on Ch. 7.

Does anyone know how they figure out which games Cox picks up in the BR area?

This could be the case, but it's more than likely going to be Channel 2 WUPL which means no HD for those in the NOLA metro area.

Hopefully our team isn't sleepy at that hour.

State has to play at that hour too. TWO "sleepy" teams will cancel each other out, though the State players probably have a lot more practice at it from all those early AM hours helping milk the cows before going to class while they were in high school.......

I have tickets to the Great American Beer Festival in Denver that night, so a morning kickoff works for me!

So those 6 or so cities that they listed are the only ones where the game comes on?

It may be different on DirecTv channels around the country because it's on one of your local channels. WJTC has the game out of Mobile, AL - Pensacola, FL area. That is DirecTv Ch 44 for those in that area.

You are looking at the guide for this weekend. LSU plays on ESPNU this Sat. at 6pm. The MSU game is in two weeks on that same "early game" channel.

FOR DIRECTV CUSTOMERS:

There is link at DirecTV.com that shows all the channels, including the FSN regional channels and their programming. The guide goes out 11 days (the farthest date shown is Sept. 25th). Check it out tomorrow when it will show programming for the 26th.

At the top, plug in the date of Sept. 26th, and the gametime, 12PM EST, hit GO, and then scroll down to the 600s. It should show what
channel(s) the Miss State game will be shown on. Here's the link:

Well at least if they play crappy they can blame it on the early kickoff.
