Overall Day 3:

ACC: Miami is 2-0 If they won the ACC tournament that would steal a bid spot. / (I think Georgia Tech is out.)

AAC: East Carolina lost, they are still in the tournament, but if they get knocked out they will take an at large bid away.

Big 12:
Kansas St is out went 1-2 RPI:#46
Cincinnati is out went 1-2 RPI:#61. (I think cincy is done)
TCU is 2-1. RPI:#35. Unless a bunch of bid stealers I think are in.
UCF is 1-0 playing right now and are down 0-3 RPI:#38 (BUBBLE)

Big East
Xavier and St Johns are battling for a spot.

Big Ten: (Possible Bid Steal)
Indiana / A team i had on the bubble but D1 baseball did not have is 2-0 and RPI#51.

Coastal Athletic:
Northeastern went 0-2 but will get an at large.
Charleston and UNCW are 1-0
Charleston RPI:#42

Pac 12:
USC and Stanford are both 2-0. Either one of those win the championship and it would be a stolen bid.

I was definitely planning to shift focus to analyzing the candidates for #2 seeds. Of all the teams on our bubble list, I believe LSU has moved to the front of the list to start pushing teams out of #2 seeds. The only team that might get a 2-seed ahead of them is the CAA tournament champion if it’s Charleston or UNCW. I would say that ULL, Texas, and Oregon may have played their way out of a 2-seed. I’m not sure if Northeastern was sitting in a 2-seed position, but if so, they are definitely out. UConn probably shouldn’t be a 2-seed but their 17-4 conference record may keep them there. I need to do a little more research before I’m ready to put LSU on the 2 line, but they have to be in the conversation.

Louisville is already eliminated from advancing in the ACC tournament and a win over Clemson tomorrow probably won’t be enough to lift them back into contention. KSU is on the edge after going 1-2 and dropping to #46. Bid thieves will likely pop a few more bubbles. Florida still can’t feel very comfortable at 28-27 even with a strong RPI.

I agree with all of this. Cal is currently beating Arizona (would be a big boost)
and St. John is beating Xavier by 1.
