I'm sure Woodward has already been trying to figure out how to scrap our deal with Aramark

I love days after losses where fans just unload every single complaint under the sun. But a concession stand melt?

I’ve never seen a fan base bitch so much about concessions. Is eating and drinking all you think about? Just stay home and eat and drink yourselves into oblivion.

Aramark had their top supervisor out there last night humping a push cart and yelling incoherent instructions to the 100 people waiting in line about there being water somewhere. Real 1st class operation they’re running.

It's a visual example of the "don't give a frick" attitude that feels like is pervasive in the athletic department these days. The idea that no matter what the product on the field, or the amenities, or the price, LSU just expects the fans to hand over the money, file in for the game, and file out afterwards, and be grateful for the experience.

Hopefully Woodward can reverse this and understand that every single thing the AD does is a reflection of their commitment to success and their commitment to their paying customers.

This complaint is not limited to LSU baseball concessions--it applies to football concessions as well. A major university should be able to do much better than LSU does in terms of concessions at its sporting events. After having been to almost all of the baseball and football stadiums in the SEC, it is clear that good concessions can be done. Imagine: not running out of food! Cold (as opposed to lukewarm or warm) drinks! Ice! Decent food! It can be done, but apparently not by LSU. Hopefully Scott Woodward will look into this as a factor that detracts from the LSU fan experience.

A concession stand melt is relevant any day Aramark is involved.

It amazes me that literally the last game of the season, they still don’t know quantities to buy and what to allocate where.

The concession stand beneath the bleachers getting baked for 3 hours will probably buy more water than the one above home plate where people were in shade the entire game.
