Slower than both. I doubt he will come close to their single game rushing stats...but if he can run on Bama then it doesn’t matter.

Fournette was one of our biggest recruits ever. Hard to compare Emory to Fournette. With that said, I am PUMPED about Emory.

Google the fastest man competition at The Opening. And just the blurbs about Emery in general from that camp.
There are 2-3 videos of him racing head-up in the fastest man they do

They have players all over the country that go there. Stingley was there.

Was it in texas? Im trying to find it. I saw one where Emery got an early jump but he was still faster than everybody in the heat. They have one is frisco texas on youtube.

Anthony Johnson at 6 and Devin White at 119 prove star ratings don't always matter. Regardless this class and 2019 in general will be pretty loaded with star power and diamonds in the rough.

He looks a little slow for a 5 star RB.
Dude is not even in a college strength and conditioning program yet and he’s already clocked a quicker 40 than Guice and Fournette. He will probably run comparably to Saquan Barkley when he leaves for the NFL. How is that slow?

Yeah, it was in Frisco, TX.
I haven't seen the videos he's talking about, though.

Yeah he was movin. Hell of a get at a position of need.

Guice was arguably the better back. His vision and ability to cut /burst was gonna make him a lot of money.
The key to Fournette is to keep him from getting his speed up. Guice was explosive.

I see Kareem Hunt kind of back. Not big or fast but always on balance. Balance and acceleration are so undervalued at that position.

etienne really screwed us

He looks like the fastest player on the field but not blazing. He has more of a beast mode style. But still also fastest guy on the field.

YEA it’s the one from frisco in July. It’s only one video from 2 different angles, that’s my bad.

Guide was reported to have run a 4.35 coming out of high school
At the NFL combine, Guice ran a 4.49 and a 4.60
And if you watch Guice’s high school highlights he looked a lot faster than Emery did in his

They don’t always matter, but they are a better indicator than a lot of folks around here seem to think. It’s true that not every 5* guy is going to play in the NFL, and not every 3* guy is incapable. But the 5* guys are a hell of a lot more likely to go pro.
When you look at the top of that all-time list, there are some absolute studs at their positions. The fact that Stingley (#7) is somewhere between Patrick Peterson (#5) and Tre’Davious White (#46) excites the hell out of me even if there are some other less productive players in that range. Same with Emery being between Four state and Guice, Kardell between Wilkerson and Whitworth, etc.
To your point - looks to be a pretty loaded class. And that’s without looking at some of the 2018 guys. I’m pumped to see how some of these players develop. If only we could get a couple more big time OT’s and DL.
