I still dont understand why Saban let Tua throw that pass before half time.

Sounded more like opinion than “truth”.

the arizona fans i saw all said their ad is a moron and didn't try to keep him because he doesn't care about baseball.

I know nothing about the Arizona AD but I saw an Arizona reporter on Twitter say

I will say this: I'm not sure there's a sport that Dave Heeke cares more about than baseball. I would be surprised if he doesn't make a strong hire.

They were concerned with the direction of the program. Especially his first year when he made it to the world series with andy Lopez old coach recruits.

What the frick kind of AD is concerned with the direction of the program when a first year HC takes a team to the CWS title series?

Andy Lopez recruits? Whose recruits was he supposed to succeed with in year 1?

The OP’s post is very confusing.

Johnson was there 6 years and made in to the CWS twice. He had a Top 5 recruiting class last year and finished the year in Omaha. Yet, your “buddy” who never played under Johnson is complaining about the direction of the program?

Makes zero sense.

Weren’t there similar posts after LSU hires Les Miles or one of our coaches. Turned out to be spot on. Not saying this is all true, but Woodward better keep a backup list of coaches in his drawer.

Riiiight. Yet somehow LSU either didn’t hear anything like this or did and decided he was still the best candidate. Okay.

Maybe at least LSU will be able to run the bases, defend the bunt and hit the cut-off man! All the things that they haven’t done the last 5-6 years
