As I said it's gonna be tough for Lange to go past 5 innings. Have 70 at least by innings end.

Leave him or pull him, I could go either way as of now, but if you take him out, he can pitch Monday still probably.

That fastball should be a strike. That's the low pitch I've complained about not getting all night.

Alex Lange in Omaha reminds me a ton of Ben McDonald in Omaha.
In '89, Ben got shelled in the opener, but Leskanic and Springer brought us back...and then we had to beat Texas twice, but that sure as hell didn't happen.
Ben had a rough 1987 game vs. Stanford obviously.
But the comparison is that Ben was playing pro-ball literally within WEEKS. Lange will play MLB in 2018.
Omaha just has not been as kind to them. Their stories are pretty damn remarkably similar. Ben was a bit better just because he could throw harder.
