It's a pregame show, not a game broadcast. The SOLE purpose of the pregame show is to be entertaining. So the question for ESPN isn't solely what will be the better game? It's what will give us the best crowd at the Game Day broadcast? Game Day has been to LSU so many times it may be that the novelty has worn off. A game involving WVU may be a better draw given McAfee had kind of taken the mantle of the "personality" of the show from Corso.

They’ll be back in BR at some point. WVU / Pitt could be electric though, wouldn’t blame them a bit.

If you take LSU out of the equation. WVU is a great College Atmosphere. I enjoyed the few times I went there. A hell of a lot better than Clemson's. I would put it up there as one of the best scenes in College Football. Again taking LSU out of it, so not a terrible move if they elect to go to WVU next weekend.

McAfee pretty much confirmed this on his show today. They’ll be in Morgantown as long as WVU wins tomorrow

They're betting on us to win - lsu/usc should be higher ranked at that time, it also gives the 2 qb's their network is saying are the best, and it is homecoming - they're waiting for that one or atm

WVU/Pitt? That is a joke of a game compared to LSU/UF. I could see TN/UGA but not WVU/Pitt.

They should both be 2-0 and the WVU/Pitt game is on ESPN so could see it happening, especially with Pat’s influence if any on the decision.
