The bottom line is that LSU has all the necessary tools in order to make a run for Omaha. They have a lineup that can produce runs from top to bottom. They have a legit leadoff man and a legit, run producing 3 hole hitter. We are hitting for a little power this year. We run the bases very well. Scored from first on a double the other day and lots of first to third on singles.

We have one of the best 1-2 punches in the country with Nola and Eades and now we have a lefty that can throw in the low 90s to pitch on Sundays. The bullpen is pretty solid with Cotton, Rumbelow, Bourgeois and LaMarche.

In baseball things have to go your way to be able to get to Omaha, i.e. Stony Brook. They just got hot at the right time to be able to make an historic run to Omaha.

Yeah, they got hot and ran into a team that refused to stay back and hit the ball to the opposite field.

We might make it to Omaha and we might not. We definitely have the ability to get there along with a lot of other teams.

The way the 8th went, I would have brought him out in the 9th too.

Maybe they are red shirting him because of the jackass Rummel coaching trying to throw his arm out.

That plan went to shite the first weekend of the season and hasn't looked back. Cotton is that guy now. The emergence of Glenn as a solid #3 has secured that.
