3/28 Update for 2022 Season
1. LSU - 174,442 - 10,261 Avg
2. Arkansas - 162,648 - 10,166 Avg
3. Miss State - 159,601 - 9,975 Avg
4. Ole Miss - 157,762 - 9,860 Avg
5. Texas - 75,517 - 6,865 Avg

Surprised to see us at #1. Have we had a sell out at home this year? No way we are averaging 10,000 during the week. I would expect all crowds to be larger with ranked match ups and warmer weather.

We’ve been #1 like 25 of the past 26 years, I think last year was the outlier. Why are you surprised to see us at #1 right now?

Are we counting tickets sold or people in seats? I have been to 50% of the games this year and we are not averaging 10k in the stadium

Tickets sold. The few games I’ve been to so far, yeah I’d say we aren’t averaging that clip at all.

It’s got to be tickets sold, because I’m not seeing no where near a crowded ballpark

Definitely tickets sold. It really sucks that a lot of those ticket holders only show up for a few big series and regionals , but won’t give upon their tickets, so fans who would go can

Harder than you think. My parents have 4 season tickets. They usually make 2 games a week, they can’t even give away tickets half the time when they can’t make it.

They have been counting paid attendance for years. They don't even report actual attendancde any more. LSU sells out season tickets for baseball every year and limits how many they sell so that there are individual game tickets available.

If I lived in BR I would be at every game possible. Hopefully with last weekend we getter a higher and more energized turnout. The dugout wasn't lacking energy the past two games. Hope they keep it rollin...

Then give the tickets up. Then people who will make the effort to go to all the home games can

It has to be tickets sold and not attendance…I make it to most games even though I’m a 6 hr drive away…and it’s definitely not attendance.

Many tickets, especially in the grandstand, are owned by businesses. They are mostly given to employees and customers who often choose not to attend. If the Tigers are winning consistantly, the tickets become more in demand. Regionals and Super Regionals are the most attended games of the season.

Why? It is based on tickets sold and has no bearing on actual attendance. We haven’t had the best actual attendance in over a decade.

LSU hasn’t been #1 for quite some time

Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Miss St definitely average more in actual attendance

The easy solution to this is that all season tickets have to be at game 15 minutes before it starts or they can resell or give those tickets away

there is no way that’s accurate.

the NCAA has always used tickets sold for official attendance numbers.
Mississippi State sold over 13,000 season tickets this season, so their number has to be north of that.

I am a season ticket holder and put my tickets up for sale for games I don’t attend.
I have not have any trouble selling them for any games this year. My seats are in the grandstand, section 208.
