I'm excited to watch his progression. Very reminiscent of an Aaron Nola. Little different stuff, but the moxy and maturity up there is on par.

He was overshadowed by Marceaux and hill but he’s just as good or better

He’s kind of deceivingly good. It could be because of his calm demeanor?

Not taking a shot but he might not be our best true Freshman. I mean who knows but he could be a Sunday starter next year and that is really saying something about these young pitchers.

That not withstanding, this kid is everything advertised and maybe more. Considering the amount of pressure he has on him. Freshman, Starter, lack of arms.....kid is a rock out there lately. Last week, in a away game against the #2 team in the country, he was lights out. He's got "IT". If he's the "Sunday Starter" in a month or two, then I'm all in.

I’ve said it from the first time I saw him, he reminds me of Freshman Lange. His demeanor and his size. His command may be better and that 2 seamer and change are better.

I’m trying to temper my expectations, but if marceaux looks dominant again on Tuesday and we get Hill back, our biggest problem will be figuring out how to use all these arms

Yea I can’t think of another year where we have 3 freshman with this much promise... as long as they stay healthy

Don’t forget about Storz. He was pitching very well when he went out last year. TBH - Peterson May not pitch again except middle relief mid-week.

When you get late in the season, resting these arms will be a luxury. No tired arms come Omaha. It’ll be about the offense more than anything else IMO.
It would be nice to have a lefty in the pen tho. Maybe they can get Cabrera some pitching time aka Chad Jones.

CPM is resting them all and is going to bring them along slowly.

I have fond memories of Dreadlocks of Doom throwing heat.
