The players only needed to settle down for a few weeks. Then let loose, hell I don't even care that much if they miss a start in a regular weekend series, but this is terrible timing. Got to have your head on your shoulders for June

I remember an interview given by Herb Brooks, coach of the 1980 US Hockey Team when he was helping with the making of the movie, Miracle.
They asked him if he was strict as a coach? Did he lay down the law? Like did he have curfews and stuff?
He looked at the guy and practically said hell no I didn't have any rule that was absolutely necessary because if I did then all that meant was that invariably on the eve of the biggest game of his career (Brooks') his best player was gonna break the rule and he would have to sit him. So no, he didn't have extra rules.
That's kinda how I feel with all LSU sports right now. It's like whatever is put in place these guys are just gonna have to walk up to that line and walk over it. Freaking DAMN!

Some people think "regional championship" and therefore wrongly assume Sunday/Monday is the most important game(s).
Not true. Game2 is the MOST important/pivotal game In a regional.
Go 2-0 at home, and yu are pretty much assured a trip to next weekend barring a monumental collapse against a depleted pitching staff on the other side. (Not only do they have to play an extra game before getting to play you, they then have to beat you twice.)
No matter what, Nola is pitching game2, that isn't even up for discussion nor should it be...the only debate now is whether to pitch yur #2 in game1 or 3, and there are arguments to be made both ways.
