college guys go once every 7 days.

J.J. Cooper from Baseball America was BA’s postgame podcast discussing this criticism. He said MLB supports a limit of 120 pitches, but he said that’s based on MLB 5 man rotation and not a 7day college rotation. He’s said he’s discussed this with major league pitchers who threw in college and they have said their arms felt much better between starts in college than in between starts in the majors.

He also said that especially the last half of the game, most of Kade’s pitches were in low leverage situations and that makes a difference.

What do they think is classless about it? I don’t think it is regardless but I’m trying to see their angle.

Kade is going to talk about that for the rest of his life. Stoked for him.

Really not much to see here, and definitely not a representation of how their fan base feels overall.

Yeah, just seems like a handful of sour grapes. All fanbases have a few. But it seems like they're a fairly decent fanbase.

Sounds like something Cinderella would say. A premier program wouldn’t say that.

Chicken, if you're on duty, THANK YOU!

I read their board for 5 minutes and started getting a headache.

It's so disorganized and hard to read it really made me appreciate how well done Tigerdroppings.com is.

It's not like he's needed to pitch next week. The next time he pitches will be in the minors and he probably won't even pitch a whole lot. 130 pitches isn't ideal during the season, but as a last outing, it's just fine. Johnson and Yeskie know what they're doing.

To be fair, 130 is a heck of a lot more than 100. But no I do not agree with them

How about 240 in a game and on 3 days rest tossing 6 shut out innings vs the Yankees?

He hit 95 in the 9th. The arm slowing down is a sign of fatigue. He isn’t throwing much harder than 95.

Wonder how much that performance added to his signing bonus and salary negotiations? That ain’t talk and speculation it’s a proven product.
