My daughter just graduated from Coastal Carolina University. In the 4 years she was in college her and her group of friends went to two home games. Attendance is an issue at Coastal.

In related news, LSU officials have announced that the commemorative 101 year anniversary Yeti cup will be $101 this season but will come with free refills of Shasta cola!

How long before fans will start carrying luggage sized purses and take home evening meals.

Missouri did something similar when we played there last. You got a wrist band for certain seats and it came with free food.
Tiger Stadium has the skyclub that offers free food I think too.

Doesn't matter. If LSU gave away free concessions, people would still complain that the hot dogs weren't warm enough and not all the popcorn kernels popped. LSU fans can't breath without whining.
While this is definitely true, cold hot dogs are something to complain about. And how many unpopped kernels are we talking about? That might be complaint worthy as well.

I never eat at the stadium because it costs too much. We eat before we go. If they really wanted to make money on concessions, they would make it more affordable and people would be more willing to spend the money.

We should do this in the 4th quarter only

Fans can get four items per concession visit (hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, and fountain drinks), with no limit on the number of in-game visits.
Good lord this is a bad idea

Sorry. Free food does not necessarily mean it will be good food. I guarantee if LSU ever did this, people will still complain about the long lines and how shitty the food is.

They don't make any money from beer sales in the 4th quarter currently because they don't sell it. They stop at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Yea, because we are in similar situations and are trying to accomplish the same things.
What the frick are we trying to accomplish with concessions? Having the worst product and service combined with the highest price in any sport at any level? Get real

Their capacity is 21,000. So they average at 90% full stadium, not too bad at all.
Wasn’t dogging that part, just feeding that many vs 85 to 90k

The falcons made concessions the cheapest in all of pro and college sports
In turn, they made more total profit than before. Yet, other owners and teams won’t do it
Literal billionaires and millionaires are basically just saying frick you to fans
“Hey, you can make more money and make your fans happier. Want to do it?”
“No”

If someone is paying $50 for a beer, they need to forego the football game for an AA meeting.
