This is such a simplistic and lazy response yet it appears to resonate among many many people. Yes you can still get it, although not nearly as easily as non-vaxed. And even if you do get it, hospitals across the country are showing the shot protects exceedingly well against admission and severe illness and death. This is not exclusive to just the US. I don’t care if people choose to get the vax or not, but the numbers do show it to be effective at keeping people out of the hospital and alive. I think the CDC clumsiness and flip flopping along with news outlets highlighting every ducking breakthrough case doesn’t really encourage those on the fence to choose to get vaxed.
