Coach LM and JJ both have the same demeanor- and their Players do too- No one gets mad.. No one wants to compete.. I have never seen anything like this in my life. I was coached harder in the 7th grade than our basketball and football players are at LSU.

Example: B Harris calls timeout with 3 seconds left. What does Les do? Nothing. Does he know we WANT him to YELL at somebody when they screw up? Can CLM please show something different than that dumbfounded look we have become accustomed to seeing. We are tired of that. Love the guy, tired of that BS though.

Example: CofC runs us out the gym and Johnny Jones' post game press conference sounded just like every other one we've heard. Boring and pathetic.

Someone Get Mad and Compete!!!!

Signed, Mad Tiger Fan.

LSU fans obsession with yelling at players is really strange.

It's better than sitting there like a dumbdumb... Anyone who has PLAYED sports on any level should understand the frustration with watching our coaches and players go through the motions. Downy Soft !!

Well tired of just settling and not doing anything

You see successful coaches are never satisfied and always fine tuning.. Was watching the Patriots and even when they score with the lead their coach looks Non satisfied.. Almost pissed.

We don't want to see a mentality of acceptance.. Would like to strive for more..

It is not who they are. Players know when a coach is being a fraud. If it is not who you are then they will see right through the bs. Just because they don't yell and scream does not mean they aren't competitive. Part of what makes Les's record in the 4th quarter when trailing so good is that he doesn't panic and his team picks up on that. Not every coach is a scream and holler type guy. Plenty of successful coaches that didn't scream and holler.

I have no problem with this. Save the fire and the teaching for the players, preferably at practice and film study. Being mad at a press conference never won a game.

Why do you think the players are always backing Miles? Because he's so easy on them, hence our perpetually sloppy, penalty-ridden play every week.

I always chuckle when the stories come out about both current and former players all having Miles' back. Why would they want someone new to come in and actually chew arse?

Obviously struck a nerve here.

So you guys are right, let's keep what we are doing, it's working. Especially w basketball.

You guys don't know anything about competing

I'd much rather a coach that is stable and consistent than a coach that loses his emotion on the sidelines.

You want your players to be consistent emotionally? The players emulate the coaches.
