“It’s my job to separate the results from the play,” said LSU coach Jay Johnson. “There are elements of it that we want to get batter at, and there are elements where we’re good and can build from.”

Does anyone know what good he was referring to?

Doesn’t matter what everyone else THINKS! I’ll trust the head coach because he sees this team everyday and is good at his job! You should think before you post !

It means this team has a lot of work to do if they want to get where they expect to be.

They were good at hitting HRs AND putting their uniforms on correctly all three days.

And if you didn’t watch this weekend maybe you would know what the good is ! They put 9 runs up yesterday in 3 innings ! There’s always good in losses as bad as you want it to be it’s not that bad teams improve I’d rather win later on in the season than now! They don’t have an identity right now! Look at what they have to replace from a year ago ! Jobert, Beloso, Crews, Dugas that’s a lot of production to replace and let alone leadership!!

I’m sure you found it impossible to find anything good this weekend. Not even winning a game against a good team on the road and scoring 9 runs in three innings. Not even responding with five runs in two innings today and knocking their starter out of the game and giving him his worst outing of the season so far.

It looked like coach was tinkering with pitching and the rest of the lineup for the long term.

I trust the loss serves some greater purpose in the grand scheme of things.

If LSU repeats, no one will care about this game.

Name them Jay. Pitching? Outside of Holman and jump that’s not true. Defense? We played a catcher in right field today. Hitting?

So you’re naming two of our starting pitchers that you’re saying did well. Sounds like you answered your on question.

Tanks went yard thrice and looks like he may be heating up

Tommys glove was on point all weekend

Braswell picked up a little steam at the plate

Strung several hits together yesterday to jump on them quick. Need more of this.

Despite not having his best stuff, Holman had a pretty good outing.

Jump looked good

Little looks like he is starting to put it together somewhat. Control is steadily improving.

Hurd showed the ability to settle in after getting off to a rough start. Just ran out of steam. Par for the course for him at this point.

Im sure Jay has plenty more high points to build on.

Silly me, I forgot, you've forgotten more baseball than ill ever know though, right?

Its ok that you are too simple minded to understand what Jay was saying. Football will be back soon enough for you.

Too many transfers have not blended well and not played together well. No one has taken a leadership role... Blair Barbier needs to give a few pointers!

MS State beat us 2/3 last year at what was our worst series and at home. Things turned out well after that series if recall. Hang in there.. Baseball in the SEC isn’t easy..

Pearson also had a really good weekend at the plate, which we need more consistency and power from the left handed bats. He provided both this weekend.

Hold up. I mentioned a 5-8 193lb 209 avg. hitting lofted swing catcher played RF and the Sunshine pumpers didn’t like that. Be careful stating facts and pointing out legit concerns and questions.
