It's about protecting Joe. We will try to be as aggressive as we were in other games this season.
2 reasons we couldn't throw it much and mix things up in the past against them ---
#1 We didn't have a QB (since Matt) that could make many throws.
#2 we couldn't protect the QB.
This year we have a QB that can and will make throws.
Can we protect him long enough to do so?!

Just listened to the interview. A couple of things stand out.
This is LSU'S game to lose. They can and will win this game if they play up to their abilities.
Pete has the utmost respect for Ed Orgeron and he thinks he's an excellent coach. He also thinks very highly of Steve Ensminger and Dave Aranda.
At the end when he said that he couldn't bring himself to watch the game I teared up a little.
LSU is in this to win it. The players think that they are going to win. I think LSU rolls.

Would like to have seen a healthy LSU dline and White. Chaisson on this team would have made a huge difference

They definitely were gunning for the end zone against UGA, so that gives me hope. State was a different game. It was rainy, windy, Burrow was off and our D was all over them. He knew we could win with FGs in that one. I do believe we will throw everything at them on Saturday night.

Wow... I could listen to Pete all day! Hell of an interview and amazing to see how much respect he has of our coaching staff.
I agree this will be our best chance to beat Alabama in a while also. The energy is just different around Baton Rouge. LSU is waking up from the dead.

What a great interview. Coach Jenkins is so interesting to listen to. I noticed Moscona wisely kept his mouth shut for the most part and let him talk.
