You of all people should remember tha last time LSU did this with Archer. shite went downhill fast after that. I am nervous as shite with this hire and I don't think Alleva and King Alwxander put enough effort in this coaching search.

I hope the fans can separate the frustration of the lack luster hire from their support and hope CEO succeeds. I was on the Herman/Jimbo wagon, but believe CEO is capable of making LSU better.
I hope the fans can rally behind our coach and forget all that transpired during the hiring process.
I hope CEO can land some surprise recruits and reload with talent like we are accustomed as LSU fans.
I hope he and his staff can recruit some talent at the LB and O-line position
I hope he and his staff can develop a more powerful/athletic Offensive line.
I hope he can keep Dave Aranda and maintain the chemistry on defense.
I hope he grabs a GREAT OC who can coordinate a more open/multiple offense that forces good defenses to react instead of attack a predictable run game.
I hope LSU fans make every effort to start thinking and acting more positive so the state of Louisiana and the program can feel pride about the Tigers again.

No. On paper, this is an awful hire period. Happy to eat crow if O does a good job but based on what we know today, there's no way he should have gotten this job in the first place.

This search was not about O, it is the lack of search and initiative to follow through.

To use a high school analogy:
Herman and Fisher were the hot girls we asked to the prom who turned us down. Coach O is the girl next door, who is really our soulmate. We ask O to the prom have a great time and realize we were meant to be and live happy ever after.
Or if it doesn't work out, hope the divorce isn't too messy and we go after the next hot coach after we fire Alleva.

A career dline coach is not the girl next door. Good god.

You tout our offensive performances this season as a reasom to keep o as coach. Ed orgeron has had frick all to do with those offenses. Ensminger was the oc. Why the hell do you want him fired? Pretty hypocritical to give offensive credit to ed orgeron.

There are about 10,000 people on this board right now. We are the FANatical ones. Most fans don't even know about this site or if they do, they don't live on it. But there are another 92000 that fill the stands every week, they are probably glad to get rid of CLM like everyone else, and went to all the games that CEO coached.
He won most of them and in the 2 he lost he was VERY COMPETITIVE, that is all that can be asked.
You do realize that Fisher got WAXED this year and Herman was far from perfect.
