My thought as well, but then again, they aren't gameplanning.
I think analysts are there to chart trends and scout the other team. It is Steve's job (and Sullivan's to an extent) to use that wealth of information to his advantage when forming a game plan.

Steve is old. It was probably just one of his many routine naps throughout the day.
ETA: Before I get down voted into oblivion it was a joke. I'm glad to see Steve is putting in the maximum effort. As an earlier poster said, it looks like we're getting his best effort. I hope it is more than enough.
