Get off your high horse and go frick yourself.

Anyone who supports this team and university with their money has the right to complain about a AD that's not worth a shite.

And that's what this really boils down to. It's not O's fault that Alleva sucks at his job.

I agree. Why can't we wait until the first drive of the BYU game when the offense doesn't score to call him a terrible coach. There were positives and negatives to his tenure as interim coach. Yeah he might be terrible and yes he might be great, or just mediocre.

I just don't understand the negativity when there is a long time until that first game.

Now, if he hires a shite OC, my 'wait and see' attitude will be trending towards the negative side.

I'm cautiously optimistic about O. I'm fine with giving him a chance.

But "get on board or find a new team" is silly. Like one of those "if you don't like the president leave the country" comments.

This is reasonable. For the most part, I was more than satisfied with his interim HC work.

Perspective/Epiphany Corner: Contrary to popular opinion, when CLM and St. Nick both came to LSU as HC, neither one had set the coaching world on fire at previous gigs. And there was much consternation amongst the fans. That they kicked it up a notch or two once at LSU shows us how much fans do not know and how ridiculously reactionary a lot of fans can be.

I expect CEO and his staff will do a very good job at LSU and the usual critics will be astounded.

Agreed and of course it gets juvenile with the quickness.

File this thread under pissing in wind.

Fact: You mistake, in many cases, "bitching and crying" for what are objective reasons supporting why this was a terrible hire.

CEO did a good not great job as interim HC.

Biggest frick up was not getting team refocused after prefight with Florida. Cost us a win.

He did reenergize the fan base & team post firing Les whom I thought was only a decent coach but now think he was less than that.

CEO will have to step up his game if he is going to do a good job. Just providing energy won't be enough. To run LSU football you have to become the Leader--you have to surpass the AD in power or u will not make it. CEO's handling of the QB recruiting (which will be CRITICAL) looks like the makings of a big screw up--I hope he has a plan and is able to carry it out.

I'm rooting for CEO I like the guy---but I want a HC that can deliver the product.

Lol at comparing O to Les and Saban, especially Sagan, who was a hot commodity at the time. This is foolishness.
