All the other stuff aside, how is Coach O's camp being run like Pete Carrol's camp? I'd like to hear what O is doing similar to Carrol (athletes and cheating aside).

Carroll's USC teams were well coached and they had O coaching the DL. You can't just roll talented players out on the field and expect them to win. They have to have technique, know their assignments and operate in great schemes.
Carroll was the opposite of Nick and his process. There are multiple coaching and leadership styles that can work.
Orgeron doesn't to be Pete Carroll, Nick Saban or Urban Meyer. Dabo is nothing like those guys and he is winning at a high level. Spurrier was not much of grinder like Saban either. SOS scoffed at the idea of spending all his time at the practice facility.
Orgeron can cherry pick from his experiences with Jimmy Johnson, Pete Carroll, etc.

If you say so. They have several questionable offers in this class and very few that stick out. He's a good recruiter but he's not on Miles level. Miles might've been a mediocre gameday coach but he was probably a top 3 recruiter in the country with Saban/Jimbo Fisher. He better be a good gameday coach because LSU is going to see a drop off on talent with him. He's not exactly building any walls up around Louisiana in recruiting either except with his coveted 3* guys who don't command a bunch of big offers.

My guess is he got it from watching the ESPN 30 for 30: Trojan War. Coach Binder is copying everything that Pete Carroll did at USC.
