But see, this is the thing. All of us who are accused of being Miles worshipers or nut huggers, or whatever Roger and all of them call us, admit that Miles should have been fired. It just goes to show how asinine their talking points are.

Just because youre jealous of my degree you've placed this false narrative that I give a frick what you think or believe. Get a life and stop believing anonymous message board posting give you dignity or self worth.

He said that I subscribed to some 5 year plan with coach O. I've said repeatedly that this is the year to produce. I just want him to correct the record and say that he misspoke.

Exactly. I was under the impression that losing 3 to 4 games a year and having a shite offense wasnt good enough at lsu. Until we hired a career dline coachs that is from LA.

I'm not going to back to dig through the conversations, but I recall a discussion with you and Lester about it taking more than three years to rebuild the lines. That's when I started joking about O being like the Soviet Union with a five-year plan.

If I misinterpreted your statements then I apologize.

I remember someone saying that O needs another two recruiting classes to rebuild the lines in order to really compete for the SEC. I don't know if it was ben or not.

Yep, we are most likely still a couple recruiting classes away from really making a serious run at the SEC title and the playoffs but it is still in the relm of possibility in 2019 if things go our way

I wouldnt count this team out in 2019

2019 can compete. LSU is still not where it needs to be depth wise. I agree that they're a couple of classes away from really being where they need to be but that doesn't mean that they can't compete and win. I'm excited about 2019.

Some simple math says two classes away means two years away, which if you add it to the time 0's been here, is about 5 years. Hmmm

I'm clearly saying that 2019 is the year but depthwise they may need a couple of more years. That in no way endorses some five year plan. There are plenty of posters here that have been panicking over 2020.

Youre going to have to explain to me what this means.

They'll just come up with another excuse as to why o can't compete for a title.

There have been threads with chicken littles running around crying about Dline depth in 2020 and you want it to be explained to you. I think 2020 is a good year to restock the defensive line. They've already got some good players committed. I don't know why you're so confused.

Personally, I interpret that to mean that the starters for 2019 are good enough to win a lot of games and compete for a title, but the guys behind them are not.

Eta: Ready to compete for a title I should say, not necessarily "good enough."

I'm confused by your saying that 2019 is "the year" but at the same time we still aren't where we need to be in terms of depth. These two concepts are mutually exclusive.
