I'll throw in the towel when Orgeron loses three straight, like Les

You're blinded by bias too. Just from the other direction.

The difference being that the posters that you're complaining about are willing to give the coaching staff the time to get back on top. The side you're on thinks LSU has never left the top Nevermind their record for the last several years. They believe the coaches have held LSU down

Now who sounds more delusional and biased?

So its ok to lose to a mid major, have the worst loss in the 100+ year history of the lsu vs msu game, lose to bama, lose to Notre Dame, beat 1 p5 team with more than 7 wins as long as its not 3 in a row?

3 which include bama, 10 win ole miss that beat bama, and 8 win arky?

Yeah no bias there rodge.

That's where we are.

These Negs are trying to set up a litmus test for Orgeron - 11 wins or fired.

But the fact is that O can win 10 and keep his job if the passing game takes a big leap forward - and the recruiting stays solid.

The only way that happens is a late season collapse. I don't see that happening this year.

Not this one. 10 regular season wins and a top 10 finish and I'm happy pretty much every season. It's hard to win championships and as long as I see some improvement, I will be happy. I don't mind being reasonable. I 100% disagree with the championship or bust mentality.

They have such a miserable existence....much like TDS.
No joy with LSU sports.
They missed a hell of a season & recruiting year. Surely they will miss 2019 also.

With three losses, iwhich all happen late in the year, you don't think the heat would get turned up? I certainly do.

That would mean a loss to Bama and probably a loss to A&M then a loss in a bowl game most likely. Depending on who they play, that could still be a better season than 2018.

Also think LSU wins 11+ in '19.

But LSU plays 5 of 2018's top-20 teams. Bad ball-bounce games can happen. 3 such games are a possibility (not a probability).

I don’t think going 10-3 next year would warrant firing O but it would definitely be disappointing.

I hope so. He's never gone a season without losing to at least one team that he shouldn't because it's incredibly difficult to do. Maybe '19 will be the year. My hope is that Brady and year 2 under E is the difference.

Wisconsin was 11-3 and finished 9th in the country.

Finished the year with the #3 ranked rushing defense and #7 ranked total defense in the nation. Lost to the 4th ranked (at the time of the game) and 10th ranked in the final poll Michigan team 14 to 7. Lost to the 2nd ranked (at the time of the game) and 6th ranked in the final poll Ohio State team 30 to 23. And lost to the 8th ranked (at the time of the game) and 7th ranked in the final poll Penn State team 38 to 31.

But they only won their Cotton Bowl game against 12th ranked and 15th in the final poll Western Michigan team 24 to 16.

So they are a "shite team" according to some of the experts on here.

quote:

Missouri was 4-8
Southern Miss was 7-6
Ole Miss was 5-7
Arkansas was 7-6
Texans A&M was 8-5

Missouri: 112th ranked rushing defense and 118th total defense
Southern Miss: 46th rushing and 15th total defense
Ole Miss: 120th rushing and 111th total defense
Arkansas: 94th rushing and 75th total defense
Texas A&M: 80th rushing and 90th total defense

Only o and e could have run roughshod over these 2016 powerhouse defenses. Miles couldn't have done such a mighty feat. He had "topped out" according to one of the rant's geniuses.

There's a lot of other football savvy posters (otherwise known as idiots) that believe no other coach in college ball could have done what o has managed to do since taking over in 2016.

Some of you are absolutely fricking stupid. 10-3 and winning the Fiesta Bowl and finishing 6th in the Final Poll is not "just above average". You dumb sour mofos are pathetic.

LSU is historically one of the Top SEC
Football Programs and is far from "traditionally just above average". LSU is in every Top 15 list of all time football programs.

Some of you are absolutely some of the sorriest fans on Earth. Why the frick do you pull for LSU if it obviously depresses you to the point you can't see reality. I mean damn.

I posted this when it happened and said the loss to UF was unacceptable so he should not be hired. I was laughed at. That and Bama were the only decent defenses he faced that season. In 2017, it was even worse. MSU, Troy and Bama all were decent defenses, none were great because Bama had its starting 4 backers out with Bama kneeling in LSU territory otherwise they cover. He lost that game.
Fast forward to UF last season, same DC as MSU in 2017 - LOSS. Bama - arse whipping and a horrible loss to TAMU where the DEFENSE had to score to at least get the game to OT.

In 2+ seasons he has 1 decent win against a team that has a defense in the top 15. 1. UGA.
He hasn’t beaten ANYONE other than UGA SINCE HE HAS BEEN COACH.
