My point was that there were maybe 2 other decent teams on the schedule after Auburn. If we make it past them we could finish the season 9-3 maybe 10-2 .

We lost to “shite teams” in the early part of the schedule by your standard. Look at the game by game stats I posted, the offensive production went way up starting with game 5. The first four games weren’t as tough as you make them out to be.

We played 4 teams who finished the season ranked: Wisconsin (9/10) Auburn (22/24) Alabama (2) and Florida (13/14)
Only 1 other team even won 8 games but A&M was on a 3 game SEC losing streak when we played them. They were a shite team.
Miss State was a shite team, that we beat.

Pretty interesting if you look at this.
You plot this on a bar graph then you can detect the cycle. He had down years in 2008 and 2009, just like he had in 2014 and 2015. Look what happened after 2009 though.
There were idiots in 2009 that thought we were in a steep decline too. They would've pulled the plug then and we would've never seen the 2011 season.

Only 1 of the coaches we are discussing had built any kind of program or had any semblance of a bounce back in their tenure.
Its amazing how Miles had lost it with 3 losses but O( with a vastly inferior offense) has you pumped. But yeah youre not biased.

See the thing is, the numbers don't have agendas. The pattern is there whether you want to believe it or not. It's not a matter of opinion.
You probably thought the same thing in 2009; time to make a change, his best days are behind him. Actually back then you would've had a more compelling case than in 2015.
