If I was An old fricker and lived in the 70s maybe I’d care about how LSU was at football 50 years ago.
Since 2000
Les Miles lost 3 or less games 8/11 seasons.
Nick Saban 3/5 while building a program.
It’s not amazing anymore

Nick had one season with less than 3 losses. Les did very well with saban talent his first 3 years.
Kinda of funny you making fun of older people. Explains a lot though. I saw my first game in tiger stadium in 1977 with my dad. Life has a way of humbling people that take for granted aging. One would think as you get older time slows down. Actually though, it shifts to fast forward and you want it to slow down. Maybe you'll live long enough to understand and appreciate.

We’ve raised the standard. And that’s nothing but a good thing.
Saban took a 3 win team and won 10 games in year 2. That’s Les won 11 or more games 5 times. And 10 games 2 more times and a 9-3 season
Les literally averaged 10.01-2.98
But Les’s last 2 years!!!!
9-3 with McNeese cancelled
8-5
Which was after a 4 year run of 11-2, 13-1, 10-3 10-3
To turn around and pretend like 10-3 is amazing is ridiculous.

I have set a clear standard.
I’ll change my mind on O when he wins more than 10 games.
He hasnt done that. The fact that 10-3 took us farther than 11-2 has taken us in the past is irrelevant.
We went 10-3 and underperforms in 2/3 of those loses.
I like His chances to change my mind next year.

Which is why i bring up 2012. Top ranked 3 loss team.
Our 3 losses by a combined 13 points to teams that finished top 10.
Had a better sec record than 2018.
We were actually competitive against bama.
Finished ranked 12th.

Unlike you, I have a reason to be there. Unlike you, I never bashed players or coaches. Unlike you, I never acted like I had all the answers. I simply said let the coaches coach, quit bashing kids. Funny how the two kids you were bashing had a good end to the weekend.
