Didn’t you know context only matters when it supports their opinion

And a bunch of you lot picked us to go undefeated. See how I did that without the insults? Try to grow up at least a little bit

And you know this Earl, I defended 0 in year 1 I had no vendetta and was big on giving him a chance. It wasn’t bitterness because of Miles or a pre ordained opinion that made me dislike 0 it was simply results and conduct.

The guy has loss seven games in two years and some of those were against teams not as talented as us. I would say thinking he cant win get into the playoffs and win it is a reasonable assumption.

I remember all of that. You and I use to go round and round about Miles and o and damn near all things LSU football.

Nobody’s saying otherwise, in fact I’d say we were below average.

Im not following the convo.

Though is weird to mock the idea that context needs to be applied when discussing just about anything regarding sports.

Imagine in real life you would talk sports with someone and try and pretend that every 10 win season ever recorded are the same, because 10 wins is 10 wins!

No one would ever say that to another person in real life. I dont know why people like sammy and madking think that provides them ground to stand on here.

We were average in 2017 as well.

That's crystal clear to me.

That’s right I wasn’t a Miles fan either so these accusations that I’m protecting him are also false. My opinion of 0 is strictly based on results and conduct.

I actually agree with you about this to an extent. Even though it pains me to say it. I'm just having a little fun at your expense.

Perhaps not in this thread, but there has been LOTS of people go on and on about what a great season 2017 was in other threads.

CLM did it...and most of his losses were to teams with inferior talent

There's been plenty that have. You're not paying attention.

It's like how you've claimed that all I ever do is criticize o. That's false. But that's all you ever focus on. You only seem to read and comprehend what you want to.

Open your eyes and your mind Roger. It'll do you some good.

QB, WR, OL, DL, LB

QB signees 14-17: (2017 class only players that committed while les was coach)

1. Brandon Harris - 4 star - .96 overall rating 3rd rated dual threat
2. Brandon Bergeron - 3 star - 80 overall -
3. Justin McMillan - 3 star - .82 overall -
4. Myles Brennan - 4 star - .93 overall - 6th overall Pro style

WR signees (i'll include TEs as well since they are receivers in some aspects) 14-17: (2017 class only players that committed while les was coach)

1. Malachi Dupree -5 star - 99 overall
2. Trey Quinn - 4 star - 96 overall
3. Jacory Washington - 4 star 92 overall
4. Tony Upchurch - 4 star - 89 overall
5. DJ Chark - 3 star - 87 overall
6. Colin Jeter NR
7. Tyron Johnson - 5 star - 98 overall
8. Derrick Dillon - 4 star - 92 overall
9. Jazz Ferguson - 4 star - 89 overall
10. Bry'Keithon Mouton - 3 star - 85 overall
11. Hanner Shipley - 3 star - 83 overall
12. Foster Moreau - 3 star - 80 overall
13. Stephen Sullivan - 4 star - 94 overall
14. Drake Davis - 4 star - 94 overall
15. Dee Anderson - 4 star - 92 overall
16. Jamal Pettigrew - 4 star - 91 overall
17. Mannie Netherly - 4 star (only 4* WR in O's first class) - 90

Yep, 2 5 stars and 10 4 stars is certainly slouching in that position.

OL signees 14-17: (2017 class only players that committed while les was coach)

1. Garrett Brumfield - 4 star - 95 overall OG
2. Will Clapp - 4 star - 90 overall OG
3. Jevonte Domond - 4 star - 89 overall OT
4. Maea Teuhema - 5 star - 98 overall OG
5. Toby Weathersby - 4 star - 95 overall - OT
6. Chidi Okeke - 4 star - 95 overall - OT
7. Adrian Magee - 3 star - 87 overall - OT
8. George Brown - 3 star - 87 overall - OT
9. Donavaughn Campbell - 4 star - 93 overall - OG
10. Willie Allen - 4 star - 92 overall - OT
11. Jakori Savage - 3 star - 84 overall - OT
12. Lloyd Cushenberry - 3 star - 82 overall - OG
13. Austin Deculus - 4 star - 97 overall - OT
14. Edward Ingram - 4 star - 92 overall - OG
15. Saahdiq Charles - 4 star - 90 overall - OG

DL signees 14-17: (2017 class only players that committed while les was coach)

1. Davon Godchaux - 4 star - 93 overall SDE
2. Deondre Clark - 4 star - 93 overall SDE
3. Sione Teuhema - 3 star - 88 overall WDE
4. Trey Lealaimatafao - 3 star - 87 overall - DT
5. Travonte Valentine - 4 star - 96 overall - DT
6. Arden Key - 4 star - 95 WDE
7. Isaiah Washington - 3 star - 87 WDE
8. Rashard Lawrence - 5 star - 98 overall DT
9. Ed Alexander - 4 star - 96 overall DT
10. Glen Logan - 4 star - 93 overall DT
11. Andre Anthony 4 star - 92 overall WDE
12. Rahssan Thornton - 4 star - 92 overall WDE
13. Sci Martin - 3 star - 86 overall WDE
14. Neil Farrell - 3 star - 88 overall DT

So, 14 defensive lineman overall. 8 that would still be defensive lineman in a 3-4 scheme. Not in any regards a lack of recruiting Miles.

LB signees 14-17: (2017 class only players that committed while les was coach)

1. Clifton Garret - 5 star - 98 overall
2. Donnie Alexander - 3 star - 87 overall
3. Michael Divinity - 4 star - 96 overall
4. Layton Garnett - 3 star - 83 overall
5. Devin White - best linebacker in LSU history
6-11: See WDE recruits listed above

So, 5 linebackers looks a little light? Right? Well, you would also add the 6 WDE recruits that translate to OLBs in a 3-4 scheme. That puts you at 11 total.

The only thing you're even remotely light on is ILBs, which 2 of them are on the field in a 3-4. Keep in mind, LSU had Kendall Beckwith and Duke Riley as late as 2016.

As I went through this, I started becoming irritated, because it only further proved that there was NOTHING wrong with Miles' recruiting.
