I really don't give a shite what 24/7 did AFTER RIVALS CREATED A FAKE PLAYER. I don't care that he was added to the composite because they pulled in data on a fake player that was CREATED BY RIVALS.

Your end all of the recruiting services CREATED A PROFILE, EVALUATION AND GRADED A FAKE PLAYER AS A 3*.

If 24/7 had ONLY included it, their system still show they don't verify anything. But when 24/7 bumped the rating to a 4-Star, they were exposed for posting THEIR VERY OWN fake data.

At least Rivals only fell for a prank. 24/7 made shite up - bumped him to a 4-Star. LOL!!!

Rivals creates a fake profile and they just "fell for a prank", but 24/7 doing the same thing is them making shite up?

You're stupid.

And if this were to happen, you're not going to give him a hotseat "pass" in 2020 when an inexperienced QB takes the reigns as an excuse for that season?

If our 2019 offense sucks and we lose more than 2 games, Ensminger will be the scapegoat. Posters liek Rodge will be saying he deserves more years with a real oc and how can you blame O when he was stuck with Ensminger.

Dont believe me?

Just think about how fast 2018 went from ," our 2018 class rankings are meaningless because O shored up the lines" to ," man we just dont have the lines to be successful".

24/7 bumped him to a 4-Star. You're a gullible 24/7 fan boy.

No. Negas are the same half dozen posters in every one of these threads repeating the same old negative crap ad nauseum.

"Cautious optimism" is something they don't possess. No matter what's said, they'll argue against it. these people are convinced that LSU cannot compete for the SEC title next year

I've gotta say they're pretty damn entertaining and easy to provoke, intentional or not.

never judged any coach on one season. It's fair to say Miles had the program going in the wrong direction over that span.

Youre using a 9 game stretch to show why o's 3-4 loss season are better than Miles'.
At least its coming of that way.

I'm not doubting that a few morons will try this, but it's just not gonna fly 3 years in and 2 seperate OCs. Hiring assistants hasn't been his best attribute so far and if his 2nd OC fails no one is going to be able to make an excuse with any credibility at all.

Eta: Forgot my Peej disclaimer. I'm not predicting he will fail. I'm responding to a hypothetical scenario.

Well that's not what happened. We went into a November free fall

I don't give a shite about 24/7. Like most rational people I use the composite because none of the recruiting services are all that great on their own.

The only person who I've ever seen say that a single site is better than the composite is your stupid arse. That's not exaggeration either.

The only fanboy here is the Ohio State fan alter.

He made his bed by Hiring Ensminger. They'll either make it happen this year or sink together

Has the LSU football program improved under Orgeron after 2 full seasons as head coach?

The amount of people who think this was an amazing season tells me otherwise. And it was always my biggest fear with O, his cult of personality and Louisiana ties would win enough people over to make 3-4 loss seasons and bad decisions tolerable for a good long time. That mixed with the Bama syndrome that we have no chance to win that game so they excuse Bama losses out the gate just add to the wall around O.

You don't think if he goes 10-3 again and gets to another New Year's Day bowl that people will say "Extension for life!"?

Yeah because youve really held the staff accountable up to this point. The only staff members i hear you saying anything negative about ar Moffit and Aranda.

And you calling out anyone else on this board about being wrong is the epitome of irony.

Let me know when i say a mid major with zero nfl draft picks since 2012 is more talented that the team with the 2nd most nfl draft picks on it

Not so sure about that. Brady could turn out to be an excellent hire. And, of course, could be a bust.

I'm guessing the LSU offense will be far better than any LSU offense in many years.

All you have to do is look how the bama game was/is viewed for both coaches.

Miles was bashed for not beating Bama but now O isnt expected to ever beat bama while Saban is there.

This is currently the largest issue the LSU fan base has. Sure, most of us realize that they're the better program right now and predict it as a loss, but WAY too many people think it's not even fair to expect LSU to compete with them. Look no further than the bevy of "well they're the greatest college team ever" posts that we saw after getting plastered in Tiger Stadium.

It's quite pathetic.

This is where some of the disagreement comes from. A good season of course, but amazing is a little much.

I think there will be some that will be just fine with that, but I guess I don't think it's the amount that you seem to think it's going to be. Maybe I just don't want to believe it. I would hope LSU fans have bigger and better expectations of the program than that.

Yes, by losing the three straight which made the overall season look like 2013-2014.
