What are you talking about? Scheme doesnt matter unless you have less polished talent.

Could have very easily been a Heisman finalist that season. Maybe should have been one.

Miles was a terrible developer of qb talent.

It's necessary but just means you were better than half your conference.
No, it means you were the best in your division.
For all of your comments about "speed" to winning, you do win in increments. Prove you can win your division and compete for your conference. Prove you can win your conference. Prove you can win your playoff game and compete for the NC. Prove you can win the NC.
That's how this works.

O lost 2 games he shouldn't won 2 games he shouldn't had a poor offense, and did not prove he could clearly and consistently beat top teams every week, which is the only way he's going to ever compete for a championship. It was very much a Miles season.
I think beating Georgia, winning 10, and omly one bad loss sets this season above anything Miles did since about 2012. We were a fluke call from beating A&M for a 11 win season.

The sec west is unique. Only Auburn failed to win the sec championship after winning the west in the last 10 years

By the end of the year, absolutely.
Last four games of the season.
Defensive passing rankings.
Arkansas: #87
Rice: #125
Texas A&M: #98
UCF: #49
I would hope so after facing those juggernauts.

The running game sucked.
Worse rushing offense we've had in 10 years.

None. There is only "hope" and "optimism" There's zero evidence.
And, it's quite clear, O will be a disaster without Aranda

Yep
But it's been addressed. I think you'll see a balanced, more explosive offense this season.

He was worse at projecting qb talent from HS to college.
But i do like how youre admitting bad play is a product of coaching and not talent.

Not true. Bama didn't play in a division championship or conference championship in 2011. They jumped straight to the NC while LSU had to beat Georgia for the privilege of playing.

We played 4 p5 programs that were good enough to not lose 5 games last year. We went 1-3. The 2 best wins of ed orgeron's life is a beating a team that finished with 3 losses and a team that finished with 4 losses. Thats not a fricking narrative. Thats a fact. You know there was a time not to long ago where it was considered great to beat inferior teams. In 2 years o has beaten 2 p5 teams with more than 8 wins. 2. Thats not a narrative. Its a fact
I have ZERO problems with you posting this....
but WHY??????
What is your reason other than trying to BASH the current coach...............
I just don't get your agenda here...........

It can be both, but no position requires more development than QB. Les couldn't do it

I'm guessing that the rushing offense was a surprise to some people. Everybody knew or should've known that the rushing offense was taking a step back for 2018. How could that have been a surprise.

I agree wit this.... Too bad the Miles lovers will never admit to it being true.....
However... You are getting your arse handed to you in this thread... You are an older guy like me who has been around the block when it comes to sports.... But sometimes its just time to step back and let it go......

I agree, but so are others. He had 4 QBs drafted that played under him and at least one more that made a roster.
3 of them started in the NFL. I try and look around the sec during that time and only Spurrier came to my mind that could probably beat that.
Oh shite, Richt too. Kind of forgot about him. And actually maybe not SC Spurrier.
