Same thing that happened at the end of the Florida game this year.

O needs to change his offense?

I can buy this. At first thought I agreed with Rick, but one team needed the score to win and the other did not.

Correct. Wisky only scored 16, we were driving with the chance to take the lead. Defense didn't fail us, the offense did.

Mainly the horrible pass that was intercepted.

Why didn't the coach put in one of the other future NFL backs? LF accounted for over half our yards vs Wisconsin

That doesn’t hurt my overall point that there were other issues with the offense

If LF7 is healthy

If Les runs Guice instead of injured LF7.

LF7 was over half our offensive yards but he still could have been better if healthyZ

That’s not hard to understand.

The running game carried the offense.

Now if you think Fournette should be pulled, put that on Les.

So the offense couldnt seal the win with 1 1st down after the defense scored to tie the game. Made the defense punt and then made a&m turn the ball over on downs?

The offense didnt have ro score to winn youre right. All they needed was a 1st down. Thats even worse

The 2018 defense scored to tie the game then all the offense had to do was get a 1st down. The defense didnt even need them to score.

The 2016 offense didn't score to win the game.
The 2018 offense couldnt get a 1st down to win the game.

The fact that you think 2016 is worse just shows your bias.

So you’re saying a healthy LF7 wouldn’t have had any better a performance vs Auburn or Wisconsin?

Is that your position? The ankle sprain had no effect on him.

Could have, but they were made the decision to run the ball 3 times whereas vs Wisconsin they were throwing and actively trying to score.

It would have been nice to get a 1st down vs A&M but it wasn't a necessity.

No shite. The pressure on the offense was even less than 2016. The 2018 offense couldnt get the win and they needed 1 1ST DOWN.

I didn't mean one was worse than the other but just they are different scenarios.

No. However if the Head Coach thought he had better options on the sideline he would have gone that way, right?

I mean, Fournette averaged 6 yards per carry vs Wisconsin. That ankle wasn't that bad.

Whats easier to do to win a game?
Drive the lenght of the field and score
Or get 1 1st down?

I am Not saying there weren’t issues on offense.

I am Saying it not just the passing game.

Les deserved to be fired for losing games.

How we got to that point just 1 thing.

It’s a number of things any of which could have possibly changed the outcomes of those games.

Both times the offense had the ability to end the game.
One offense had to drive the length of the field and the other needed 10 yards.

Well, seeing as this is statistically incredibly hard to do, I say LSU made the right choice on offense to pin them deep...

This is a testament to how much of a monster Leonard was. He was clearly nowhere near 100% and still had a pair of big games against Wisconsin and Auburn. I don't see how you don't understand that he would have had even bigger games if he was healthy. If we're being honest, it may have been wise to split carries between Guice and Fournette at the outset. Oh well.

Shouldn't you expect a little more than an 8.2 passer rating?

Is it that hard?

Can you provide those statistics?
