It’s the rest of your post that’s bullshite
You understand that THEY run almost evrey major football program in the nation? THEY are the shotcallers. The AD;s work for them. You understand that? I doubt it.
And you know that the boosters had Miles word that he would revamp and modernize his offense? And that Miles did nothing of the sort? And THAT's why Miles got fired? You know that. No you don't Yoy think it was X's and O's, or W's and L's. It wasn't.
But, everyone in the country who knows much about how the game works id FULLY aware of it.
You're clueless. LOL

Well, the stats didn't get crazy until just a few years ago. Particularly in the SEC.
That’s not the point.
Burrows played in 2018 and still couldn’t beat records from 18 or 12 years ago.
He could break 3000

Absolutely. But it was clearly a problem toward the end of 2015. We couldn't win with that offense.
We still went 9-3, would've been 10-3 if not for Nicholls which of course wasn't played.
That's a pretty good record. How is it a problem?

We'll see 3200-3300 this year.

It's amazing that you think boosters really care about anything other than 1) Making Money and 2) Winning
And 2 enhances 1. Always.
It's amazing that you think a college coach can bullshite these guys, and still keep his job.

It’s amazing you think boosters would fire a HC who was winning NCs for bullshitting them.
You’re grasp of LSU history is fricking terrible.
We averaged 150 yards passing a game in 2011.
Winning matters more than anything else to everyone

It's not a bad record, but losing three in a row by double digit scores really sucked.

It was a strange year, didn't need huge numbers because of superior field position.
However the passing game was extremely efficient. Probably in the top 2-3 of Miles tenure at LSU

You're wrong. and we obviously know that...but let's take this part and unpack it a bit, because I think it illustrates one of my major fears in having Orgeron at the helm.
Let's assume for a second this fricking clown from Ohio is even partly correct...why on Earth would we as fans want a local guy, with the most obvious and crass local connections WE ALL ALREADY KNOW ABOUT at the helm of the LSU Football program if wins and losses don't fricking matter...just that the booster get fed at the trough? As fans, isn't that what WE ultimately care about?
Awesome...wonderful endorsement for Orgeron, bud. You just described Ed Orgeron as the boosters' Yes Man.

Show me these 3rd down passing stats from 2011 rodge.
I readily admit 2011 was more efficient but you in no way were talking abiur efficient.you used totals and ssid no team with those stats could win the sec and when proven wrong you changed your stance to efficiency. Do you see why people have a problem with that sort of posting?

Maybe you're simply not capable of grasping the backroom politics of college football. Do your homework.
And Miles promised the boosters that he's revamp the offense, and put in a passing game. He didn't do it.
THAT'S what got him fired.

Made up bullshite
It’s like you can’t distiguish the 2.
You keep pretending that we don’t get the boosters wanted Les gone.
Most of the fan base did including the boosters.
But you’re the only person on earth who thinks it’s only because less lies about the passing game. He also never made a promise to make a modern offense. He kept the same OC.

What's the difference? 3 losses are better when they're spaced out through the course of the year instead of consecutively?

Youre gonna gloss over the fact that efficiency was in no way what you posted?
You posted totals and said no team with those stats could win the sec. When i posted a less productive offensive total winning the sec, you switched to efficiency.

I'm the ONLY one who thinks that?
ESPN:
ESPN:
quote:
Alleva told Miles the decision was made late Saturday night. In reality, it was probably made last year, when Miles survived a coup in the final hour after beating Texas A&M late in the season. It was only a reprieve, though, because the same power brokers who wanted Miles out didn't go anywhere. And Miles was either too hardheaded or too loyal, and maybe both, to make any sweeping changes on offense.
quote:
But as the college game started to change, Miles dug his heels deeper in the Louisiana soil, and while everybody else was spreading it out, running tempo, finding ways to be creative and scoring points, Miles was still trying to do it his way. The hard way.
It cost him his job.

I have the same kind of thought when people say that Canada was forced on Orgeron. It doesn't make sense to me that they would demand Canada one season then turn around and be ok with hiring the TE coach the next.

Your retort was re-posting the same article?
Oh...never mind. I think we all agree now that we've read it a second time.

Did you see lsu spreading anyone out this year or did you see the same max protect eligible formations?
