“Struggling” doesn’t begin to describe what is going on.

And that’s the main issue. No one wants to admit this is unprecedented.

i'd have no issues taking my lumps this year if they state of the program wasn't crumbling. The massive quitting and transferring epidemic along with a thin OL, poor coaching hires, and a dwindling roster. im concerned that they right man is navigating the ship. We won't even have 85 scholarship players next year. hell there might even be some walk ons playing. this is devastating and will se the program from reload to rebuild. its a bigger rebuild from when he took it over after miles

In interview with OTB, when TBob pressed him, through the bad cell Coach O can be heard challenging the fan base. He says (paraphrase) we won the national championship last year, and we are struggling this year. We’ll find out who’s with us and who really supports the Tigers. I’m not going where you’re trying to go.

Yeah the fans are the problem with the program.

Well if he really thinks that

The people that write this nonsense are why we had an subpar recruiting experience from 2015 to 2017/18

Orgeron righted the ship. Made good decisions and we had an unbelievable year.

Now a collection of very impatient people are running their mouths and making the rebuild/reload much more difficult

And yet zero accountability for O

He made the decision keep E as OC even after a sub par 2018 offense (all because muh playbook). He hired Linehan and Pelini

He decided to get a divorce and let a 30 yr skank take nude selfies.

He made promises to recruits on playing time and schemes.

He told the entire fan base this years defense is light years better than last.

He has some hand in the Title IX issues.

His staff only has 1 fricking OL commit as of today in a huge position of need.

He buried his own grave

If O is going to challenge the fan base, the people who afford him his multi-million dollar contract, then he needs to realize that HE is at a critical juncture in his career and life. He very well could be biting the hand that feeds him if he doesn't take steps.

This isn't Ole Miss. If Orgeron pulls here what he did there, his entire home state will forever remember how Bebe treated the home school job. That may never wash off him.

Was Orgeron asked what kind of retarded thought process convinced him to post after sex selfies on the Twitterverse.

What O wants is Beatles level respect after having one hit like the Monkeys.

So essentially Coach O being under pressure is blaming the fans for this?

What a disaster.

Challenging the fan base is about as successful a strategy as arguing with your boss. It is a losing proposition.

Blame it on the fans, blame on COVID, blame it one BLM, etc. Many of our coaches lack professional competence; they are just at LSU to recruit.

There is a big difference between supporting a coach and supporting a program

LSU is the program and it has support but if fans start to see that a component ie Coach is wrong for the program then the fans will turn

O needs to realize that HE is not the program and the fans are turning on HIM- not the program
