Disagree. I think he'll be just fine in a non-head coach roll.

dawg its unbelievable how emotional these boys are. I promise you they all had Coach O's scrotum down their throat in 2019 and now they act like they went through a toxic breakup

Breathe brother. To be this irate and offensive over a youtube video is alarming.

After a quick google search I have attached the first therapist that showed up - if they are not for you I recommend googling "therapists near me" and a lot more will show up. God bless and you're welcome

Are you retarded? I don’t care about a video. I didn’t even watch it. I was responding to someone’s comment.

Also, I don’t live anywhere near Baton Rouge.

CEO skipped over some of the good stories of when JB9 was formally introduced to the team.

He opens up with, "If I am your QB, we are going to win a National Championship. If I am not your QB, this will be the most hydrated team in America - because I will be the best damn water boy this team has ever seen."

The UCF game with the targeting hit on Burrow was definitely a game changer! His coming out party to the rest of the world was in 2019, it was 3rd and 17 at Texas and they are on his arse - JB9 connects for a TD. That kicked off the "pageant wave" and we knew we were in for the ride of our lives.

As a season ticket holder, I am thankful to be alive to see the season play out undefeated and win the Natty

The entire team was recruited by him from the time he joined the staff under Les.

He went for a lower class star rating in 17 to load up in the trenches and it paid off 2y later.

It took a lot of things coming together, a couple of dumbass mistakes ahead of it, but you can't take any of the success away from Ed

Anyone who says Ed had nothing to do with that magical season is a complete moron.

of course O gets credit for 2019. He did assemble the pieces.

But it's also reasonable to believe that it was a lot of luck. Burrow wasn't in high demand when he transferred in, and even when we had him, O wasted all the offensive talent in 2018. Only when Brady came in 2019 was it unleashed.

But yes, O gets credit for that. But it wasn't some masterstoke of program building. It was a one-off.

When Burrow and Brady left after 2019, it all imploded.

Eh maybe. Ryan Clark Race-Nuking the locker room and everyone around Ed had a lot to do with it .

Right. So he put together the absolute best college football team ever, then said, "Fukitall." Gotcha.

This. I'm not calling O Bear or Saban, but he's contributed to like 5 national championship staffs in his career. Not many can say that. I never hear him take credit for anything other than assembling the people and players he doesn't pretend to be a brainiac. The dude went through some personal shite and dicked off alot and also got chained to some staffers he didn't necessarily want. The Trump comments in the interview set Ryan Clarke loose and turned the locker room into a weird race war in the middle of all his personal shite and he didn't have full control of his staff and said fk it I guess. I'm not making excuses for the dude but to say he isn't a good coach/recruiter I don't agree with. I definitely appreciate his time here and while the program was in a terrible state when he left I don't think that's all his fault.

Also I don't agree with Burrow being luck we had staffers here that had previously recruited Burrow and they loved him and advised O to get him here. We don't win a national championship with Burrow either if Joe Brady wasn't hired on the spot when he came in to teach them the type of offense they thought Burrow would thrive in.
