You mean the same guy that tried to threaten to take away LSU football over budgeting quarrels? Yeaah. frick that guy

Ha, when I first saw, copied and posted the tweet I thought they were talking about Edwin Edwards. I was like, "shite the old bird is out of prison, great role model for sure".

Then when I went back later I saw the pictures and was like "who the hell is that"? I live in Texas and didn't realize Louisiana had elected another Edwards as governor. Crazy

Don't remember Culp hitting a 53 yder. Especially considering he was short on a 42 yd one

Was my thought when I read the same thing

Thought it was a mistake by Dellenger but Orgeron specifically said Culp in the press conference.

The ball just explodes off Gonsulin's foot, it had plenty of room to spare.

Orgeron says he hasn't seen freshman LBs like #LSU's got right now since his days at Miami (Phillips, Queen and Taylor)

This is strong

not much size there. Dillon is listed at 5'11, Gage at 6'0. (Yes I know OBj and JL we're both 5'11)

I like WR size but mostly in the red zone. This OC will have packages for that. Going down the field I like YAC. These guys give us that.

I just said this the other day and got burned for saying all 3 would likely see the field. Well here it is. One can work between the 20s the other is great for RZ and GL situations. We may need both at some point. RS makes no difference. Who ever starts next year can play for 2 years then the other play the 4th and final year if they both stay. Hopefully they do because I think they can both play a key role.

Sounds like he was because we seem to have saw the same thing, but I did have to leave early.

Culp didn't impress me. Gonsoulin looks to have a better leg for distance.
And since we are discussing kicking game I'll add that it still looks very inconsistent for kickoffs and punts. Culp goes for the line drive that bounces around the 5-10. Gamble has a nice sky kick that hits right in the end zone which is probably our best option. Growden and Von Rosenberg both looked inconsistent overall. Not one really impressive punt while they were out there.

I reported this back in the Spring and had mentioned that Jack was making a strong push to overtake Connor as the presumptive starter this year. Still close

I like to think that the guy who got first shot at the extra point is in the lead.

O names Gage, Chark and Dillon as WR starters

That's a lot of speed, but it would be nice if a bigger target WR would step up into a bigger role.

All of these guys are of the same mold.

Will not be any different this season.

I'm just going to sit back and watch what happens in big SEC games. (I know what's going to happen).........
