Point: LSU deserves a manager with competence and work ethic.
Otherwise, the resources cannot be optimized.
We KNOW, a solid manager is all it takes!

Charles McClendon does not belong in the same circles as: Stoval/Archer/Curley. Charley Mac was competent. HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ELEVATED TO AD, instead of Dietzel. Irony: We hired a traitor to get rid of a loyal career warrior.
Stovall should have never been given the job!
Archer should have never been given the job!
Curley should have never been given the job!
McClendon should have been rewarded for his accomplishments and ULTRA LOYALTY.
PERSPECTIVE: LSU fb fans have proven more competent, in assessing the hc's, than those people who are in charge of selecting them. We have a highly politicized body, making decisions in matters they lack competence. Nobody came close to matching Joe Dean, for the diminishment of our football program. He presided over 8 losing seasons and an abysmal set of coaches. Fact is, Joe Dean wanted to KEEP Dinardo. Joe Dean allowed our MBB program to be destroyed.
Hire competent AD's and let them have their coaches, with the help of a committee.

I absolutely agree that Coach Mac doessn't belong in that kind of company. If I remember correctly, he won over 70% of his games at LSU. He did catch the heat reflected in the bumper sticker above because he didn't beat the bear.

Coach Mac always beat the dogs but the teams with good records would beat us most of the time.His 70% winning was against bad teams.Maybe someone out there has those stats.
