Co-worker Sam Leavitt debate

I have been going back and forth with a coworker who is a Bama fan, and says it will be Leavitt that will fold, bc he’s overrated and prone to INTs….and Russell is the “next phenom” to surpass Tua
I’ve stated the following:
1) name me another SEC QB who is a 1st year transfer, that is coming off an injury, who had no Spring or Summer work with his offense, who is working with a new OC that he’s never worked with, and has to lead an offense with 80% new players.
2) Leavitt’s career stats prior to LSU were 36 TDs, 11 INTs with an QB rating avg over the previous 3 years of 135.67
3) as opposed to his time at ASU, what famous all-world QBs did he follow? When he comes to LSU, he’s coming in to take over a program that has been led over the last 6 years by Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels; both Heisman-level and 1st round picks.
So, I’m a firm believer that all this taken into consideration, Sam had been cramming a LOT into a small window, and tried TOO hard….and thus had several ( although not all his fault) INTs.
I feel Sam is relaxing more, knows his game plan better and knows his offense players ….thus, the improvement and it WILL get better.
It will be the freshman, IMO, that will have the bad day Saturday!!

Not worth the time or effort.

We have the advantage at QB. Everyone will see that tomorrow! Trust in the Lane Train!

Sam has been the last couple of games but his propensity for turnovers is a valid point. Remember he got lucky vs AU with a really, really bad pick that got overturned.
I think the only way we lose is if we turn the ball over.

Wasn't there a penalty?

No the ball hit the ground and slightly moved when the DB went down
It was a good call but surprised we got it on the road at AU

Throw out the one bad game against Tech and he's 16 TDs to 5 Ints, not exactly what I'd call turnover prone.

The turnovers stopped once we started calling all those short yardage passes.
Bama can tackle, unless they're playing Tennessee. We'll need to throw deep a few times and thats when Leavitt is succeptable to INTs.
I don't think we'll be able to be successful running the same game plan we did the last two games, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

I haven't met too many out of state bama fans that actually know ball like frfr
