LSU has played 14 SEC games....they've lost 12...none of which Zipper has played in. Is he likely the difference between a win and a loss? Probably not because, unfortunately, McMahon will still be coaching the game regardless of who plays. But where is the risk in giving him a few minutes? Particularly now when the season has long been a lost cause? That you lose the game? There is a 90% chance that is going to happen anyway.

Posters like that think ignoring the problem makes it go away.
They’ll complain about the complaining instead of the actual problem. 52 SEC losses in less than 4 years isn’t the problem, it’s the posts on a message board that they can’t tolerate.
Think how warped you must be to hold that opinion.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Very odd how this type of poster contributes very little to actual basketball discussion/game threads. Say a few critical things about McMahon and they come rushing out of the woodwork.
If he’s fatigued like he suggests, maybe he should be the one taking a break. No one is making him read the threads and then respond. Odd fellow.

I completely agree with giving Mosely more run because, why not?
However, Zipper's name is brought up in the greater context of the thread, which about LSU signing a 22 year old foreign player who is a pro in a professional league overseas. Thus, the reason there isn't much excitement about this news because MM signed a similarly situated player for this team....who he never plays despite losing at a historic (relatively to LSU's program) rate.

Agreed, I doubt he makes it to campus. It seems pretty likely to me that we don’t see any of these dudes in an LSU uniform again.

This consistent excuse that anybody McMahon doesn’t play is because they don’t play D is laughable. Nobody plays any D, his teams don’t play D. Thats not why he doesn’t play guys.
