Sorry that was a bit of an oversight. Kevin Faulk was definitely awesome.

Guy wasn’t losing that night. Say what you want but he was more valuable than Joey B in that game IMO

They never had a problem tackling Fournette because there were 3 or 4 guys in our backfield on top of him as soon as he got the ball. We were one dimensional and predictable.

Was at the game in Tuscaloosa. Every bama fan after the game was the same “who the frick is #22?! He’s a monster!”

Reminded me of Jacob Hester against UF the game Clyde played against bama
Great comparison.
They expressed it differently, but the message was clear: no fool on the other side will stop them, just watch.
ETA: Hester vs Flarda and CEH vs Bama are top tier LSU RB performances ever.

This was an NFL play run by NFL talent who happened to be in college. Watch the seams open up late in the play. It was executed perfectly.

Dude made about 4-5 plays where there defense whipped our offense at the point of attack and he just made people miss....and critical plays, like 3rd down plays that kept the chains moving. He was huge that game.
While it may not stick out like the other incredible plays he made that day, I believe his first carry (LSU's first offensive play) was the most important. Had Bama stopped him for a three yards loss (like every other back the previous decade), the collective LSU spirit would thought "here we go again"...
Instead, CEH simply spins out of it and picks up 9 on the play and the rest is history

Wasn’t he coming off of a hip injury too?

Every time I watch it, I have a greater appreciation. How many game changing plays did he make in that one game?

It reminded me a lot of Hester vs Florida in 2007

there have been many, don't forget Charles Alexander.
