re: Closer look at the Nike pro combat unis

Full look at LSU isn't suppose to come out until the Monday before the Ark. game.

It sucks. It is still ugly. If anything, uglier in close up.

Unless there are major changes, what I have seen for LSU's Nike pro combat unis suck. If they want to use the old gold helmets, then go with old gold pants with purple and white stripes as well. Or even better, go with purple helmets and purple pants with gold and white stripes. Also, LSU is known for the purple and gold stripes on the shoulder and under the arms on white jerseys. And please put something on the side of the helmet, preferably LSU in block.

I didn't like them very much from the stills - but they looked FANTASTIC on TV (highlights start at 0:45).

The cleats are a spin-off from their "Mercurial Vapor" soccer line. Pretty sweet imo.

why don't people get it......they're THROWBACKS from the 40's/early 50's!! that's what the helmets looked like then. it doesn't look like Washington helmets, it looks like...LSU's helmets from the 40's!

Is it just me, or does the glove on the right...



...look like it's got some hippie lettuce going on there.
