Security will definitely let that happen.

The bus ride isn't anything particularly special. The entrance though is unique, along with the touching of Howard's Rock. I'm sure it's exciting for their fans. Comparatively speaking, LSU's entrance isn't particularly special. The big pregame moment is the buildup to the band marching out onto the field before the crowd erupts when they hit the first four notes of the pregame salute.
The one thing I've always though about Clemson's entrance is it didn't seem wise to have your extremely hyped up players come running down a hill. Even on the video you posted you see some guys jumping down the hill at the end. One awkward landing is all it takes to turn an ankle or blowout a knee.
Then again, they've been doing that for a while and I can't recall hearing of a significant injury because of it. So I guess it's not that big of a deal.
Personally, I think Virginia Tech (Enter Sandman) and South Carolina (2001-Space Odyssey) have two of the best entrances

On my bucket list.

I’ve already got a Yeti full but it’s designated for the Florida game.

Hmmm. Reminds me of Ascension Catholic in Donaldsonville. Team would warm up at school and climb on the Purple and Gold Bus to the stadium. Not an elaborate entry, but warmed and ready to go when they got to Donaldson High's stadium.

Most do know it but I’m sure some didn’t. Fans of college football are well aware. It’s similar to how other fan bases know we have a live tiger on campus for example

Seriously, I consider myself a fan of CFB. My husband and I go to a couple games at other schools every year. I just don’t pay attention to others’ traditions unless I’m there and see them for myself. Outside the most obvious, of course. I don’t find their team entering the stadium coming down the hill to be particularly noteworthy, though

Well it’s literally blasted in your face as part of college football “hype” content.
You probably just overlook it or don’t pay attention or know what you’re looking at. But now you do!

It's been awhile since I taught at Clemson. I was there for four years and the entry is legit. The people in the stands can see the team loading onto the busses and the crowd starts to rev it up. As the busses make it around the stadium and the players begin to assemble around Howard's Rock, the stadium comes alive. Everthing is well choreographed.
When they split the students that are sitting on the hill in the end zone, roll out the orange carpet and charge down the hill - it's impressive. I've attended lot's of sporting events and this entrance is worth seeing.

I knew they ran down the hill at the end of the stadium. I didn’t know they drove around in buses to get there.

I’m sure the energy would impress me if I saw it in person. That’s all it really is. LSU’s entry and Those 4 Notes builds up the electricity which is what makes CFB so exciting.
We aren’t going to Clemson this year bc I’m convinced I’m the 1st game jinx. We will go to Oklahoma and one other game probably. Our son just started at TCU this week so we will make it to a few of their games, too.

I don’t blame you. It seems unnecessarily dangerous in cleats but I get the hype about it now.

Right. But it makes sense if it’s on the other side of the stadium and up a hill.

First time Clemson will be selling beer in the stadium. Should be wild times.
