Venables also wants his son with more playing time. Jones was the odd man out and fits perfect for what we need.

He has no chest.
He’s afraid of competition.
Am I doing it right?

I respect his decision.

How is he eligible immediately? I know the rules are loose as hell now, but he doesn’t have to apply for a waiver?

Skalski should play FB or TE too. Looks like he is missing a gene or two but he looks old school

NCAA is allowing transfers without penalty due to covid. Looks like interleague transfers could still be required to sit out a year.

Actually, he is listed a grad transfer. So, he has already obtained an Underad degree from Clemson.

So he has 1 year with LSU?

No, he was a redshirt sophomore. So, he graduated after 3 years. He would have 2 years left, but since last year didn't count, he could actually play for 3 years at LSU...That is unlikely though.

Love this comment about Jones from Clemson Insider:

what the Tigers do lose in Mike Jones is his leadership on and off the field. Jones is one of the more respected players in the Clemson locker room, a guy a lot of players look to for guidance and leadership.

Mike Jones’ interview from the acclaimed 2005 videography ‘Still Tippin’:
Second verse interview
A breakdown:
When interviewed, Mike said the following:
“My gasoline always supreme.”
“It takes grinding to be a king, it takes grinding to be a king.”
“First round draft piece - Comin’
Who is Mike Jones? - Comin’
The one and only
You can’t clone me
got a lot of haters
got a lot of homies
some friends and some phonies.”
I can only hope he chooses #44.
