This will be Clemson’s best team in years. Maybe ever. When LSU falls off the schedule, they’ll summarily return to mediocrity. That’s how this works.

I’m not convinced that Clemson will be any different than what they have the last several years. I don’t think Dabo is recruiting across the board the same elite talent he was before 2020.
Frankly, one could argue they are the most overrated team going into this season. Who did they really beat last year? An overrated SMU team that got blasted by Penn State in the CFP last year? No thanks, I’ll pass. Even with a weak schedule they will find a way to lose at least 3 games.

I'm going to bet on Clemson moneyline. I just don’t believe in Brad Davis’s ability to coach the offensive line into a cohesive unit. Last year, even with NFL-level talent, our O-line struggled to run block. I don't think they'll be able to handle Clemson’s defensive front in this game.
On top of that, we’ve consistently struggled to contain mobile quarterbacks. With all the new transfers expected to start, it’s going to be tough to get everyone on the same page in Week 1. Meanwhile, Clemson returns 80% of its production and has the home-field advantage. That’s a tough combination to bet against.

I think the Oline will perform well. The transfers will help tremendously with experience especially at center.

The Browns have 5 QBs. They just drafted Shadeur. I dont see them drafting another QB, but then again, it is the Browns. I see Nuss being picked before Cade.

Clemson is loaded folks. On paper they’re the most talented team we’ve open the season against in the BK era. The boys better tighten up their shoulder pads and be ready for a physical war

Don’t have to be a genius, LSU has to run the ball better than last year and semi stop the run. If you can’t against good teams, especially on the road, you lose and LSU will lose again.

ESPN fell in love with him after the 50+ yard touchdown run with a minute left in the game against Pitt. Clemson were down 20-17 at the time and Klub won them the game driving the field and rushing for a 50+ yard touchdown.
