So a softball is able to go THROUGH wire mesh now?

Not sure what part about over you aren’t following. Read all my posts and pics in thread. It’s all there dude for the factual discussion.

Not sure which part of the video you aren’t comprehending. The ball was foul. End of story.
The ball is seen in FRONT of the foul pole before it lands. It never reached the pole to be able to be OVER the pole.

Slow mo from link you provided does look like the ball never made it to pole... thx. Sux because it must have missed hitting pole by inches.

You’re still fricking arguing when proof is posted. You can’t be this dumb. Are the trees in front the pole too cause you can see green through mesh too.

How did she blow it? She complained to the umpires who said there was no video to prove the ball was fair. What was her next move?

You ever wonder what this outfielder is doing if ball is in front of pole? Your video is deceiving in that tweet.

upon further review ... pictural facts are present below confirming the ball was FOUL .... WIDE LEFT by inches

this extreme zoomed-in, close-up view is from the video camera behind home plate. Notice the HR pole is directly inline with the large cypress tree. Pictures match up perfectly, and likely the ONLY video the umpires could view to change their opinion. Initial ruling on the field was foul ball.

ball is approaching the HR pole, the red arrow is crucial in identifying lines on the pole and where the ball travels

ball distorting the line (in front of it)

B&W image showing the ball in front of pole and onscuring the line

notice the ball inside the circle, there is a distinct outline in between the 2 lines

same image a milli-second later and the ball image (where red arrow is) is not there .

the pictures above prove the ball travelled IN FRONT OF the HR pole. Had the ball been fair and inside the field of play, the ball would have not have obscured the distinct lines on the pole as pointed out by the red arrows. The ball NEVER travelled behind the HR pole, clearly in front of it. Based on the camera angles and position, Blue got it right on the initial call and subsequent video replay.

Chad .... how are you gonna spin this one since the pictures tell 1,000 words ?

Oh don’t worry. He won’t let mere facts get in his way. He has a story and he’s sticking with it.

That twitter distorted video is misleading. My pics are straight from the op link. (To which nobody argued with)

This is a still shot at the OF the precise moment the ball is BEHIND the pole. You guys are fools if you think it’s falling in front of pole and this was her angle

You guys just made me watch it all the way to the homer. The dude who caught it was in foul territory.

This is a USL USL USL commuter school shrimp boot wearing, uneducated swamp rat that probably never stepped foot into a college classroom. Don’t listen to this person. The ball was clearly fair and the ump even said it crossed OVER the foul pole so it wasn’t reviewable. OVER the foul pole in any way, shape or form is FAIR.

Damn dude learn English.

so you're saying we can't point to a cross hairs of the net in front the foul pole and call it a softball?

Another point not talked enough. the foul line angle and "foul territory" is highly deceiving. This ball flat out dropped over the pole and very likely still in fair terrority behind it.

This uneducated swamp rat knows enough that when a softball clearly passes in front of another object without disappearing the softball never reached the foul pole.
