Joe Borrow had more to do with that that Coach O. They follow a leader like that. Where was one team, one heartbeat O’s last 2 seasons? And when people get paid a lot and some don’t, it causes division.

His own teammates were not only charging him for the tickets that they weren't going to use, but they were price gouging him. They got them for free, and can't sell them on an open market. Ok, he got NIL, but he said he paid what they were asking. As he said, it's the principal.
Well, if he’s raking in $300K in NIL money while those teammates selling the tickets are scraping change to have a night out with their buddies….

Not surprising there’s a little bit of a divide between the NIL haves and have-nots in locker rooms these days

Yeah, O was really consistent at keeping that in place, right? Miles, too. Remember 2008?

Idk why some of y’all are so upset. He’s saying that the locker room isn’t very close and that players charge other players for tickets. It’s not like he’s out here totally trashing LSU. If you don’t like what he’s saying you should probably be more mad at the guys that are currently in the LSU locker room.

I’m not mad at him, but if he didn’t want any negativity, all he had to do was what MOST portal players do- keep this shite off social media. Most don’t make negative public comments on their way out unless there’s some real bad blood there. If there wasn’t, what is the point of doing this?

Give me a fricking break. He isn’t owed tickets, especially when he had a 6 figure NIL deal. Some of the players aren’t making a ton with NIL, so do you have issues with any of them looking to make a buck on their comped tickets when they can? I sure wouldn’t. That’s called being really fricking entitled.

Billy Cannon had quite a racket on tickets when he was at LSU, had to support his wife

We upgraded significantly at the spot he left behind. Wish the kid the best he didn’t adjust to playing sec ball couldn’t get seperation is what it is. Hell have a much easier time in the acc

I think he had good hands. Easily the best hands at receiver on the team. Granted that’s saying very little this year. I think he would have had a good season next year, but that’s his decision to leave. He is a decent receiver.

I was on a high school basketball team and we were all friends but we weren't holding hands. 100 plus players are not all going to be one except hopefully on game day.

Daniels was a mercenary who has now left two schools for more money. It’s a little rich for him to now complain that other players were capitalists like himself.

I think CJ might have some feelings hurt that he wasn't offered more or that LSU didn't go after him more to stay (I have no idea whether they did or didn't)....it appears like, and I surely don't know, but it appears like LSU pretty much let him go without much of a fight and that CJ considers himself above that. I agree with you though, it is not a good look to be trashing your former team on social media...just go prove yourself elsewhere and it'll all take care of itself.

I'm not going to trash him because he was solid (not spectacular), and had good hands when he was on the field.

But portal/NIL guys kinda lose the high ground when talking about locker room chemistry. He said Liberty was great; so why did he leave such a good thing? More money, better opportunity... for him?
That sounds like a "me" decision. And again I won't fault him for doing that. But don't talk about others being that way when it's your primary motivation too.

i agree with everything said here.... not gonna trash him, and he was a good WR for us, when healthy but talkiing about "bonding" from a guy that entered the portal twice, yeah, seems pretty hypocritical...

You can knock him but his insight should cause concern. No team will be as good separated than together as a unit.

Not everyone is a great fit... Louisiana is a different place when it comes to culture and personalitys. Walking into a new locker room full of that isn't for everyone.
