It's the X-Box Generation... if you're losing you can turn the game off before it ends and it doesn't count... make your QB 99 power in every category and go 14-0 every year!!

All time leader in winning pct is Michigan .730, Boise State is next .727, then Ohio St .725 and so on...LSU managed to win 75% of their games this year with a new head coach, new OC, below avg QB and a ton of injuries early on. Yeah I now... Troy, hell even Saban lost to ULM at Bama and UAB while at LSU so damn it happens. Plus I think Orgeron had to kick some heads and get kids straight and we had some suspensions early on. But I saw a team that got better each week and by seasons end were playing some pretty damn good football! That's a sign of good coaching! Geaux Tigers!

It's still not a new years big six bowl. I thought we were replacing miles to get better not stay middle of the pack?

That's correct. It is possible for fans to be encouraged with improvement over the course of the season without being labelled as "settling". It is possible to look ahead to next season's players, development, schedule and expectations without all of the "next year U" crap. It is possible to give the HC occasional praise without being a "O apologist" or any other canned "he talks like us" label thrown out.

I support LSU. I want the coach to succeed, whoever the hell he is. I will point out positives and I will offer criticism when appropriate. I would bet that represents the majority here on this forum.

I don't get why that is so hard for some of you to understand.

Not to mention the $4.5m payout is higher than any other non-NY6 bowl.

I'm as anti O as they come; but posting this 500 times doesn't help any more than the 499th did.

I ranted about this a year ago and have moved on. You should grow up and do the same.

I'm looking at it as a glass half full.

I'm optimistic that at worst tDecline has been arrested, and at best we are starting a new upward trend.

the sec back then was fricking brutal. LSU beat top teams this team hasn't they beat a three loss auburn team and who else? A bunch of SEC schools in the toilet about to fire their coaches. very impressive stuff
This argument is so lame. Which conference would you rather be a member of if not the SEC? Every conference has down years yet the SEC has 2 teams out of 4 in the play offs. Add to that we beat the team that beat both of them. Down year or not, that's pretty strong. Some people just need to enjoy life more.

Any bowl outside of the playoff is a major bust for the Tigers
come on now. that's ridiculous. that is just not reasonable. what bama is doing now is almost unprecedented and in an ultra competitive era. i don't like it but i can accept the reality of it.
