Probably the 11am est start time. I am going, but that's early a F for a football game.

Must suck to be so ingrained into an institution where you have zero input into decisions like new hires so when the decision is made and it doesn't go your way just burn the whole building to the ground to justify your butt hurt meaningless feelings. Love LSU the brand. Guess you like many who hope for LSU to fail so you can say I told you so behind your bad arse key board. The real losers

In order of importance...
Subpar season/fans are disappointed
Flood
11am start time
People realize if they go they have to bring the family because it's New Year's Eve and if they bring the family they would have to go to Disney world because if your taking the family there is no way you're not going to Disney world.
It's in Orlando and Orlando sucks

The last 2 Citrus Bowls kind of ruined it for me plus Orlando as a city is all hype and shake down IMO. Between Disney and the basic lack of soul and adult feel I doubt I'll ever go to a Citrus Bowl again.

Most Tiger fans are really disappointed in having to watch our team play in the Citrus. We are the 2nd best team in the SEC and likely will be next year as well. I'm bullish on coach Eaux and our coordinators. We will finish strong in recruiting and will give Bama a run next year. 2017 will start with supreme optimism now that Les is gone. Most of us fully expected this to be the end of Miles and the whole season started with that cloud.

Go Tigers, Go Eaux and let's be thankful for LF7.

Not one more ticket would have been sold. Keep pushing your narrative though.

Me and 4 of my friends are going. Two of us have been here all week and the others are headed down tomorrow. We are planning on going to the pre game party Friday hosted by the local alumni association

I saw a lot of LSU fans today and met a nice group of Louisville fans today

I'd like to be there, but I need to wait until my kids are a bit older.

I also empathize why so many in LA aren't going. It's been a tough year and the football drama and our AD have very little to do with it. There's still plenty of LSU fans in FL that will make the trip.

I'm at a point now with or kids either in college or on their own so we can just go if we want to. We both decided to make this our vacation and enjoy the parks and then watch the game

I would probably have gone if we were getting Herman or Fisher. Not going now.

So you're flat out wrong on this.

1) LSU historically doesn't travel well for bowls.
2) We are playing Louisville.
3) Not really a lot to be excited about right now.

I was at the 2005 game and watched what was supposed to be a football game played on a tank trap at Legends in 2010...

my preference, I'd be in NYC watching the game at Legends...

Near top of list, ADD:

LSU fans spent a butt-load on Green Bay trip and travel budget is zero.

FWIW, seatgeek doesn't have that many tickets, and they range from $40 to $159.

That is just your opinion and has no basis in fact. Truthfully there are many LSU fans who are behind this coaching staff. LSU has taken the view that there simply aren't many head coaches out there right now worth top dollar so they focused on building a top staff. Lsu has a great staff and if you and nitwits like yourself can ever get off Tom Herman's nuts you might be able to see that he has accomplished nothing worthy of being considered a top flight coach. The man lost games to several weak opponents this season and his team was very inconsistant. Either get behind our coaches or go find another team to tear down.

Regarding ticket sales, most Bowls are struggling to sell tickets. The playoffs have diminished interest in bowls and made them even less meaningful than ever. The Sugar Bowl was having trouble sellling tickets as well. Does that reflect on OU and Auburn? No. It is just the way yhings are right now.

To the person who said that LSU historically doesn't travel well, that's not true. Up until a few years ago, we travelled as well or better than any fan base in the country, sans maybe the Gumps. Les Miles killed the enthusiasm for LSU football for many fans.

Tampa is a long drive, 10 am New Years Eve start, and bowl attendance is down overall.

I think the 10 am start is the biggest ticket killer, besides economic reasons.

10am is ridiculously early. shite that's an 8am start for the west coast.
