Little would be an absolute last resort. You forgot to mention he can’t throw a strike either. 33 IP 28 BB this season. That’s horrific.
Yup. This season combined with his rough appearances in Omaha earlier in his career would be hard for him to overcome mentally. Probably too much to ask.

I’m starting Little and have Colman warm ready to go. Give Little 2 batters and if he’s off put Coleman in. A dialed in Little can give you 4-6 innings

If you are worried about a guy not getting out of the first, then you don't start him. The only time LIttle should be considered is LSU has a 2+ run lead and he starts an inning. If any runner makes it to second he gets the hook.
I hate saying this but keeping Little off the mound has made this staff better. Not saying he can't turn it on but when he isn't good he hurts the team.

We have to beat Wake Forest twice. 9 + 9 = 18.
Not sure if that was a joke lol
Well then, you're wrong on all accounts.
It's just math man. 9 innings * 3 outs= 27 outs/per 9 innings
27 outs * 2 games= 54 outs/per 18 innings

He is still 19. won’t turn 20 till July. he’s got a ways to go, but he is still crazy young

sorry Christian....today is not your day. don't worry though, it's not your fault, it's coach Johnson's for recruiting you. Vanderbilt ought to owe LSU some type of penance for taking him off their hands

Early childhood brain development is important

It would be great if he pitch like he did in Vandy.

To put it into context, he's about 9 days older than Gavin Guidry. About two months younger than Griffin Herring.
I really think Corbin fricked him up by convincing him to enroll early the way he did.

Needs more consistent command of the strike zone.

No offense to Little, but I hope he doesnt have to pitch at lsu ever again
He will be an important arm out of the pen next year. Might even start Sunday/Midweek. I think/hope he's done for this season. If we had the arms to spare, I think he'd already be on his way to Summer Ball.

If he already has that kind of experience at that age, gives me some hope he’ll be able to be an important piece next year with some improvement this offseason.
Eta well I found this on him…

At 17 years old, he became the youngest pitcher to start a Southeastern Conference (SEC) game.[6] Little later became the youngest player to start a College World Series game.
